Missouri Dem. Senator 'Hiding' from Reporters After Obamacare
Weekly Standard ^ | JUN 29, 2012 | DANIEL HALPER

Missouri Democratic senator Claire McCaskill is "hiding" from reporters after the Supreme Court's Obamacare decision yesterday, according to a local news report:

VIDEO

McCaskill won't say where she stands on Obamacare, though she voted for it. And she won't make her self available to members of the press curious to hear her thoughts.

"There's only ever been one goal for Claire. Affordable, accessible health care for Missouri," a spokesman for the senator told the local news outlet.

The Missouri senator is in the middle of a close reelection battle. Her past support of Obamacare is thought to pose a great political risk to her future.

McCaskill made news earlier this week by announcing that she will not attend the Democratic convention later this year.

I think the Repubs have a good chance to win 10 to 13 of those D Senate seats. They take 13 and the Rs get 60 Senate seats.

Was thinking on the same lines....That should be the minimum goal.

wiki has a good chart with names/competetors listed. Just difficult to see how each state now stands. Individuals don’t have the impact now that there’s a “throw them all out” attitude.

Someone forgot to tell Claire that Obama said he wanted to fundamentally transform America…..

The “fun” with Dems who voted for Obamatax & are up for re-election begins. :-)

They should explain to the voters that they had to pass the bill in order to learn what it contains.

;-)

Weren’t the top Dems gloating about the SCOTUS decision on with obscene language on TWITTER?

I prefer Brunner myself. Steelman has a lot of baggage.

He's on the ball, too. He's already mailed out at least a couple of flyers.

You forgot one—Rep. John Barrow (GA)—not going to the convention.

Good list- thanks again hoosiermama.

(If they play their cards right I think there could be a good chance for at least 11-12 of those seats. Just keep up the pressure on this issue).

“Affordable, accessible health care” won’t mean a thing when the nation is as flat broke busted as Greece and Spain, has the 500 day waits for simple procedures, early death for the elderly, and nobody in the health field will work because socialism destroyed the profit and work incentives.

It will take some time for many to understand this.

Many do not want to understand this. They just want someone to blame. Then there are those who will ignore the facts, in favor of their emotions, and 'what they know' (which is what the media feeds them).
