I did NOT like Bush. For the same reason I did NOT like Nixon. (commie pig acquaintances think I’m lying about that.)

But I liked Bush, for the same reason I liked Nixon.

When W decided it was time to kick mudslime a$$, he did it. He even slipped up once and used the word “crusade”, for which he almost got his head hacked off.

When Nixon said he was going to bomb you, your a$$ got a whuppin. The vietnamese were a little slow to learn that and that’s why operation Linebacker and Linebacker II, along with the mining of the Haiphong harbor, killed so many of the enemy. He cleaned the garbage out of Cambodia too.

But on social issues, aw jeez, he was a wackadoodle nut case. Dep. of Energy, Dep. of Education, EPA, endangered species act....and on and on and on.

Bush, he DID appoint Alito, but remember who he chose first until the great unwashed masses in the GOP got it through his Texican head that his choices were a REALLY BAD idea?

He was gung ho on amnesty and .....

Just like Nixon, Bush left a s!!t trail that is destined to plague the Republic for a loooonnnngggg time.

Where the hell is Superman when we need him?

Well if Nixon would have done that the day after he was sworn in when he still had the country's support the war would have been over in 6 months instead of dragging it out with the resultant loss of more lives and defeat

He cranked up the B52 missions to get the peace accord and the POWs back. He could have done that in 1969

And please no response about the N Vietnamese leader who said they won the because of our MSM and protests in the street
If he had used the B52s in 69 it would never had gotten to that point

He's buried up on a hill in Simi Valley, California.

A balanced, well-reasoned post!

Still, you are much kinder to GWB than I would be. I would say Bush does not come close to Nixon in stature. His wars against Muslims were one-hand-tied-behind-our-back affairs all the way (in my view). Remember when he pulled the Marines BACK from Fallujah (the first time)? WTH?

If only he had tried the “Operation Linebacker” approach over Waziristan.
