Time to make some dough by shorting Sears stock. They are headed into the crapper.

Your point is extremely well taken, although being in the NYC area and being connected to its universities, it does seem from my perspective that the nation is teeming with liberals. I do believe they were behind the LGBTQ organized agenda beginning in the ‘80s which has been as we can see nearly wholly successful. I do believe popular support for the movement had to play a large part in its advancement, and they themselves point this out constantly. I understand about a silent (or not so silent) majority but I would hope that it could have stopped what amounts to almost irrevocable damage in some venues such as academia, public schools, retail, etc.

Thanks for the original post....
And your feedback...

Your points are also well taken...
Especially from your outpost -- deep in the heart of the media/radical academic stronghold...

But the"quiet" numbers about NYC and NY state also tell a story...
Many families and companies have just packed & moved for a myriad of reasons; mostly transferring to less-(tax) oppressive jurisdictions...

And let's not forget the food police -- nanny-humor only...

HOPEFULLY....
We can awaken and motivate the disaffected complacent body politic...
(....particularly the FAITHFUL Body of Christ... FYI -- a personal goal)

U take care up there behind enemy lines...
God bless...

The JCPenney in my mall is now devoid of customers when I go in. Not only customers, but devoid of clerks, too.

Not only devoid of clerks, but a couple of the service kiosks where you pay totally disappeared....obviously not enough clerks left to man them. One has to hunt for a place to check out or to get any questions answered.

I did see a cluster of three clerks the other day, chatting it up with each other because the store was empty of patrons for them to talk to. Being a trained freeper, I tactfully elicited from them much unhappiness and resentment.....they are all (unwillingly) reduced to four hours a day.....and their attitudes reflected the air of doom which was hanging heavily in this cavernous store once thronged with human beings who loved to shop there.

I still do.

They stole the rainbow for promoting anal sex.
Why don't they use something more appropriate like a turd.

Ha, well the rainbow after all enabled them to classify all alternative sexuality under one banner, including bisexuality and transgenderism...

It’s not going to be long until they have the entire alphabet co-opted.

yep, considering they began with only “homosexual” rights, then moved to “gay”, then managed (so far) to add in L,B, T and Q. They also created derivative flags for Bisexuality and S & M (which added a heart to the bisexual colors). They may have to add letters for the gay marrieds, for those in civil unions, as well as those looking to adopt or use reproductive technology. I really would not be surprised if the rainbow multiplied as the special rights and protections do.

I suppose the "T" for Transgender also applies to people who do not believe in gender at all: This was on the Facebook blog some time ago, about their concern for persons who did not want to specify themselves as belonging to either gender: --------------- ". . . we've decided to request that all Facebook users fill out this information on their profile. If you haven't yet selected a sex, you will probably see a prompt to choose whether you want to be referred to as "him" or "her" in the coming weeks. When you make a selection, that will appear in Mini-Feed and News Feed stories about you, but it won't be searchable or displayed in your Basic Information. We've received pushback in the past from groups that find the male/female distinction too limiting. We have a lot of respect for these communities, which is why it will still be possible to remove gender entirely from your account, including how we refer to you in Mini-Feed. "

The gay thing worked so well for JC Penney’s. /s/ Guess Sears wasn’t paying attention.

I’m wondering... sinde homosexuality is condemned in the same chapter in the Bible as incest and bestiality, how soon before we have Incest Pride and Bestiality Pride movements?

In the past, Walmart did contribute significant funds to and joined forces with a gay advocacy group, (NGLCC - National Gay Lesbian Chamber of Commmerce). But it seems a backlash from their conservative customers put an end to that practice, which shows what collective action can do.

I don't see Sears core product lines such as Craftsman and Kenmore having any significant pervert clientele. You could argue from a business (though not a moral) standpoint that, say, Whole Foods or Barney's being “gay” friendly, but not a chain of stores that largely sells to people in flyover country. This is yet another example of the poor management that has run this once dynamic chain into the ground.
