Rasmussen: Conservative Anger Against Obamacare Hitting 'Stratospheric Levels'
Newsmax ^ | 7/2/12 | Paul Scicchitano and Kathleen Walter

Conservative interest in the presidential election hit “stratospheric levels” following last week’s Supreme Court ruling upholding Obamacare, noted pollster and author Scott Rasmussen tells Newsmax.TV.

“All that did was energize conservatives,” declared Rasmussen in an exclusive interview on Monday. “The conservative interest in the election was already much higher than that of moderates and liberals. It went up to really stratospheric levels right after the ruling. We don’t know if that will continue or if it’s just a temporary response to the news cycle.”

RUSH today really shot down that theory that`s going around...ie Roberts playing chess, while others playing checkers (all you said)

Roberts just showed that he is unfit for office, nothing more

“Conservative = loving those old fashioned documents like the constitution. We kind of get why it was needed. We want freedom and we are smart enough to see idiots peeling it away from us.”

Conservatives are for fairness and personal responsibility. Whereas racists like Eric Holder believe that all those living on the South Side of Chicago in impoverished neighborhoods are there because someone else (usually of a different skin color) has been too successful, conservatives know that skin color is irrelevant, and that the social factors that have created ghettos in what used to be viable neighborhoods will not be solved by pointing fingers or trusting government. True conservatives don’t see black, white, or other. Liberals need color, and every other divisive point they can find.

Time to go all in ... and donate?

Um ... nope.

Let me know when you’re really going “all in.”

I can't vote for someone that supports killing babies. I'm funny that way.

If you look at my posting history, though, you will see me calling for abolishing the federal government.

It's an experiment gone wrong and it needs to be ended.

Madison was an idiot.

IF the way FReepers are attacking each other is any indication of how conservatives will devour each other over the next four months may as well just schedule Ø’s coronation and get it over with.

No choices there either.

Sweetie, there are always choices. Even some that don't conform to false dichotomies.

God bless you!

We do not have the luxury of "abstaining" in this election; it is too crucial. And, after another four years of Obama--God forbid--we may have lost, for a long time and perhaps forever, whatever leverage we have through the ballot box.

And THAT should scare EVERY conservative into grabbing a clothespin and voting for ABO!

Perhaps global warming is okay, since part of the premise is that the oceans will rise. If that happens, say goodbye and good riddance to coastal cities such as DC, NYC, the entire Eastern seaboard, LA, SF, Seattle, etc.

I’m going to pick on your statement. It’s not personal though.

The idea that the SCOTUS is supposed to protect us from anything, let alone tyranny, is the problem with voters today.

We must protect and defend ourselves from tyranny. It should be given no quarter. Why are we not organizing to march on D.C. ... armed this time?

Oh, we made a big show of those signs - “We came unarmed, this time” - didn’t we? Did we mean it? No

We’ll go to the booth and vote Romney. We’ll listen to pundits tell us that it’ll take decades to undo “it.” And we’ll burn up the phone lines calling D.C.

That’ll be all.

Do you think that your rhetoric will change anything?

Do you imagine I control THE VOTE that will decide?

Get over it.

The outcome of the election is not in my hands or yours, however, I am going to have to 'splain to an ultimate judge about supporting or not supporting those that kill babies.

Judgement call. I chose life.

Excuse me but I had a problem. Although I don’t smoke when I smell cigarette smoke I think of past days of freedom.

And in the Rasmussen daily tracking poll of likely voters, Obama led Romney by two points two days ago - today Romney leads Obama by two - and negative evaluation of the Supreme Court is up eleven points in the last week - looks like the Obamatax decision is having an effect after all.....

What you say has crossed my mind but there are just too many factors that indicate such was not Robert’s intention. Recall the intentionally botched oath Obama took and the subsequent private chambers swearing in without the Bible. Recall the infamous photo of Obama being cozy with justices in Roberts’ chambers. Recall that Roberts is a good friend of Haass who runs The Council of Foreign Relations. Think about the fact that Roberts was a Bush appointee and Bush was the one who proclaimed that there was a ‘new world order’ coming and I don’t recall either Bush saying anything negative about Obamacare. The situation might well turn as you listed but if it does I will not believe Roberts planned it that way.
