NEW YORK, NEW YORK, July 2, 2012, (LifeSiteNews.com) – Fresh off its decision to celebrate “LGBT month” by incorporating a homosexual “marriage” storyline into its X-Men comic books, Marvel Comics has announced it is marking National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October by teaming up with the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation.
Superheroes in several comic lines will be drawn with a special pink cover to mark the comic line’s affiliation with Komen. The comics specifically involved include the Avengers, Captain America, Captain Marvel, the Fantastic Four, Invincible Iron Man, Mighty Thor, Uncanny X-Men, and Wolverine.
In addition, all Marvel comics “will feature a special one-page advertorial educating readers about breast cancer, complimented by additional content on Marvel.com and through social media,” according to a joint press release.
The Komen foundation cut off funding for Planned Parenthood this year, only to reverse itself after a blistering public relations campaign and continue issuing new grants to the abortion industry.
“Marvel is proud to partner with Susan G. Komen For the Cure to support their unparalleled efforts to raise awareness about the risk of breast cancer to both women and men,” said Dan Buckley of Marvel Worldwide.
Komen Vice President of Marketing Dorothy Jones said, “This partnership will allow us to share critical information with this important audience.”
“We’re in a unique position to educate all our fans worldwide,” Buckley agreed.
That’s the problem, pro-family leaders argue.
Monica Cole, the director of One Million Moms, recently told LifeSiteNews.com, “Children really admire these superheroes.They love them. They want to be just like them.”
In this case, their heroes’ actions would encourage them to give money to an organization that caved in to public pressure and resumed funding for Planned Parenthood.
Marvel celebrated “LGBT Month” in June by announcing a same-sex “marriage” between X-Men superhero Northstar and his mutant boyfriend, Kyle.

There is nothing the liberal PC propaganda industry has not polluted in America today in 2012.
I never thought I would live to say I hate my country. But I hate my country. Oh, there are tons of great people in it, but the power structure no longer represents me in any way, shape or form. For the past 20 years I would say “I love my country but I hate my government”. With Benedict Robert’s insane ruling, with Obama’s treason, with our leaders installing UN Agenda 21, we have been completely sold out by our elected leaders, and I mean lock, stock and barrel.
I hate my country. I said it and I mean it.
I will now entertain all the comments for me to leave America since I don’t love it anymore. Nope. I’m not leaving. There is no where else to go. Everywhere else is already more oppressive than America.
America is the last best hope, but we have been sold out locks, stock and barrel. Read about Agenda 21 and tell me we have not been sold out lock, stock and barrel beginning with Daddy Bush right on down to Obama, and every president in between, and all Congressional leadership and the courts.
Our economic collapse is now baked into the cake Cloward-Piven style (intentional economic collapse), and we sheep who have been sheared for so long will get our last shearing and be lead to the slaughter.
I hate my country because all of my country’s government is corrupt and has sold me out to the UN, the New World Order and the global governance.
But wait! the GOP pundits would say there is a “silver lining”. Oh, indeed there is.
The silver lining is that I was born in 1958, and lived in an era before US citizens became slaves to their New World Order Masters. It was a good run. Too bad it is coming to a rapid end.
Marvel has always been a haven for commie homosexual agenda lib nonsense. Not surprised.
