Op-Ed: "Palestine"? Israel Readying to Extend Sovereignty
Arutz Sheva ^ | 3/7/12 | David Singer

Posted on 07/03/2012 2:34:13 PM PDT by Eleutheria5

There is a limit to how long Israel is going to wait for Abbas and this seems an opportune time to take him at his word on the dead negotiations and act independently.

A confluence of events is increasingly pointing to Israel taking action in the very near future to extend its sovereignty over a substantial part - if not all - of the 61% of Judea and Samaria it has totally controlled since 1967 - unless Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas ends his posturing and submits to considerable loss of face by announcing he is now prepared to resume negotiations with Israel without preconditions of any kind.

Abbas himself only last week declared the negotiating processes begun under the Oslo Accords in 1993 and the Bush Roadmap in 2003 to be "clinically dead" (whatever that means). If he is not prepared to at least try to breathe life into those stalled processes by unconditionally returning to the negotiating table - he will be presiding over the irreversible end of those negotiations. Israel is not going to continue to mark time waiting for Abbas to end his political filibuster.

Abbas's attempts to procure international pressure to be brought to bear on Israel to freeze building activities in the "West Bank" as a condition of resuming such negotiations have failed. He has literally been left to hang out to dry.

.....

Only one person - President Obama - can possibly resuscitate the negotiations by inducing Israel to impose a building freeze for a limited time in the area or release more prisoners than the thousands it has already.

This would require Obama to grant a pardon to Jonathan Pollard....

Don't do it, Obama. Think how it would hurt your chances of reelection. The Jooos! all hate you anyway (SSSSHHHH!) and are giving less money. Look at all the damage to your approval ratings dealing with the Israeli/Arab conflict has done already. Make a victory tour of Iraq and have a state dinner there instead. Or go down to Egypt and say something in defense of the Copts. That might even get a few Christians to vote for you. Let the piec--I mean peace process die quietly./heh heh heh.

I cannot conceive of Israel as whole without all of Judea, especially Hevron. IMHO, the only "way to peace" is to annex it all and send the Palis packing.

How about Mali?

I agree! But the prophecies give Israel 100% of Judea and Samaria (and more). Ready, set...go!

No need to even send them packing. In the End, they will cheerfully leave on their own, and with good wishes all around. In the interim, they do good work in the building trade.

I’ve commented a few times here and other places, but I think it deserves calling attention too repeatedly, for anyone new here or not readily aware,

I believe once they part the land, divide Jerusalem, the events necessary for Joel Ch 3 will be met, (among many other scriptures) its the end of the age,

“For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,

I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.”

The so-called "territories" should have been annexed on their conquest 45 years ago. And there shouldn't be a "palestinian government" in existence.

Remember when these vermin were international pariahs that only the Communists and Third World hell-holes would have anything to do with them? Even American liberals (who claimed for so long to be Israel's sole champions) wanted nothing to do with them. Then someone waved a wand and the "line" changed.

And now Germany (of all countries) has outlawed milah (circumcision) a Divine Commandment given to Abraham, and the only reaction is to invoke the Holocaust and "rights."

I'm so sick and tired of everyone pretending that G-d doesn't exist!

At the cost of how many terrorist attacks. The Israelis would do better to expel the Muslims, and invite the Copts.

Yes, Joel talks about those who part the land, but is there a requirement for Jerusalem to be divided before the end of the age?

I believe what we're witnessing here is the requirements in Leviticus Ch 25 being applied to the land with the Jubilee, and the day a vengeance per Isaiah Ch 63:4

“For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.”

Walled cities we're not to go out in the Jubilee release, but unwalled cities we're considered part of the country and did go. The land can be redeemed by the rightful owner, providing all of the conditions are met. I believe this is whats happening in Revelation Chapter 4 and 5, it the right of redemption using the very framework and Laws God provided with the Law of Moses which Jesus fulfilled in the flesh. These laws and requirements are being used to redeem all of creation. I further believe its these very ordinances that Satan is trying to overcome, to break the everlasting covenant, (see Isaiah ch 24) likely to prevent this very event from becoming legally possible upon the Earth which he currently has dominion over.

Revelation 16:19, Jerusalem is divided into three parts

Also, earlier Jerusalem is given over to the gentiles for 42 months,

I believe this is why,

there is much more going on here, and we're told much more than most realize, but that doesn't mean I'm right, just my conjecture,

but if so, it also means that the age of the Gentiles is coming to a close.

The construction workers are too tired at the end of the day to blow themselves up. If I had my druthers, so would a great many more be.

Their actions tend to show that they do believe in G-d and oppose Him.

Yes, Jerusalem was given over to the gentiles on 70 A.D. and it is still being trampled by them. How else would anybody explain the monstrosity on the Temple Mount? And yes, at the end of the Time of Jacob's Trouble Jerusalem will be divided in 3 parts. But it still does not say anything to me about today, July 4th 2012! I also believe that the age of the gentiles is coming to a close, that is my fervent hope, but I don't see where Jerusalem needs to be divided for that to happen. I will keep on praying that Netanyahu stands firm on the issue of Jerusalem, and that our Lord will come back soon!

The Copts are not friends of Israel. They're just as hostile, if not more so, than the moslems.

This love affair with Middle Eastern chr*stians (the most anti-Semitic in the world) has to end.
