Forgot to remove the part about Robert KKK Byrd still serving in the Senate.
That's a great insight. I feel the same way about people who are upset about this or despairing about that or infuriated over other thing ... and looking for someone to blame. Isn't it just too exhausting, when you could spend the same days and weeks and years being happy?
oh, the Elitist Plantation, now i got ya....
Do it for Treyvon! And remember to eat your Skittles!
Larry Elder, the brilliant writer of the posted article, once wrote a book titled "Stupid Black Men." I don't know offhand if Rangel is mentioned in the book, but he certainly should be. And. BTW, Charlie, "Bull" Connor was a Democrat!
Another infamous bit of absurdity from Rangel occurred as he received news of the start of the Persian Gulf war in 1991. Rangel declared that he opposed the war on the ground that there was a disproportionate percentage of blacks and Hispanics in the US military!
:-)
CR is too stupid to know the signifance of the stupid things that ooooooz from his mouth.
Bull Connor also was a member of the Alabama Ku Klux Klan
You’re joking aren’t you? If not then you better crawl back under your rock
A Short History of Democrats, Republicans, and Racism bookmarked
That is true. I would add that I was a resident of a town just outside Birmingham during one of Mr. Connor's terms as director of public safety (I think that was the term) and the word was that one could walk in downtown Birmingham at 3:00 a.m. and be perfectly safe. The ferals were that afraid of his policemen, all of whom were large and aggressive. Try that today, if you're suicidal.
No...I'm not joking at all. The Democrats take the black vote for granted the same way the Republicans take the conservative vote for granted.
"The conservatives don't like our RINO nominee? Tough. Who are they going to vote for? Obama? LOLOL!
I will NOT be crawling back under my rock. Have a nice day.
Don’t let the RINO/Willardbot enforcers get you down. Nothing but a bunch of punks.
Not a problem...I deal with punks in New England on a daily basis. I called the cops on a neighbor's dogs which were running amuck in my prize tomatoes, then my cat 'disappears'. My wife is hysterical.
My moving van is reserved. Screw New England and their union thugs.
If you are trying to praise "Bull" Connor for safety, realize that it came at a very high price in loss of civil liberty. After all, Birmingham was part of the United States - and still is. We are not the Soviet Union, Nazi Germany, the People's Republic of China, nor countless other dictatorships where they know or knew how to keep the streets safe at night.
Sounds like the dogs might enjoy a trip to New Brunswick. One way.
The wife and I will just have to settle for a one-way return trip back to the south...then we can fraternize with a much, much better class of people.
It’s unfortunate good folks like you and yours have got to flee certain areas of the country. Too bad we can’t quarantine those destroying America... force them to live in the filth they created.
Thanks...I once suggested a wall at the Potomac, but the folks in western Pennsylvania got their nose out of joint. They had a point...Jim Quinn country. :-)
Squeal if you wish, but I and many others got safety and I don't recall any concomitant loss of civil liberty.
As I said, try walking in downtown Birmingham even just after nightfall today. The city is truly a City of Fear today. Perhaps you can explain to me why.
