100 Million Dollar Man: Romney Sets Fundraising Record
ABC News ^

Posted on 07/05/2012 2:05:29 PM PDT by Joe27

Mitt Romney reportedly raised more than $100 million in June, the best fundraising month of his campaign so far.

Politico's Mike Allen first reported the total, which includes contributions to both Romney's campaign and the Romney Victory Fund—a joint account between the Romney campaign and the Republican National Committee. A Romney spokeswoman did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

That's two record-breaking months in a row for the Romney team. In May, the presumptive Republican nominee raised nearly $77 million—almost $17 million more than President Barack Obama's re-election campaign. The Obama campaign has not yet announced its June totals.

Well, its just great to know that FReepers are “actively” supporting the Kenyan. I give you credit for not denying it and now know who else to steer clear of, sorry for the bother.

Where in the f*** did you get the idea that I have to justify my vote in November to some guy on the Internet? I laid my life on the line for that suffrage and I refuse to waste it on some worthless gesture when I can help evict Mr. Obama from the White House. You do a disservice to this country if you siphon off even one vote from the only candidate who can defeat Mr. Obama in November. Sorry if you don't want to hear that.

Really, you shouldn’t lie like that. It just makes you look bad.

You’re the one who invoked the blood of the patriots in defense of the most liberal governor in the history of the republic.

Which made my questions to you quite reasonable.

How many of them do you think bled so that Romney could push through socialism, complete with $50 copay taxpayer-funded abortions?

How many of them do you think bled so that Romney could destroy the Right to Keep and Bear Arms of the people of John and Samuel Adams’ State?

How many of them do you think bled so that Mitt Romney could violate his State’s constitution and inflict perverted homosexual fake “marriage”?

How many of them bled so that Mitt Romney could force little school children to learn about the wonders of sodomite sexual perversion?

I’m certain it was almost none.

The most liberal governor? Hyperbole much? You can sit there with a straight face and say that? Almost every governor of Hawaii since statehood has been to the left of Mitt Romney, just to use one example. Jerry Brown in California, for another. Or Floyd B. Olson of Minnesota. Or Howard Dean...
I could name a dozen more.

Okay. Name one of them that:

A) Instituted “gay” “marriage.”

B) Permanently banned scary guns.

C) Pushed through socialized medicine, complete with $50 co-pay taxpayer-funded abortions.

D) Thoroughly homosexualized state government and the public schools.

Just one.

I wouldn’t lie, it takes too much time. However, what I did do was go off half-cocked and I owe you an apology for that.
I am sorry that I said you were supporting Obama as a generic Mitt-hater when that is not the case. I could have at least checked your homepage before my kneejerk reaction instinct took over.
In the end, I am the guy leading the way on the ABO Bandwagon and haven’t been screwed over by the GOP enough to turn my back on the candidate who has the best chance to win.
I wish your candidate the best of luck, I would consider voting for him if he had a chance.

Well, we nominated a candidate who is exactly as liberal as Obama on health care among other issues. If he loses, I guess it will be worth it just so we can say we nominated a candidate who never committed adultery and does believe in birth control.

Knock it off. The primaries are over. Focus your energy on getting out the vote so we can get this Marxist piece of trash and his endless EOs out of office

I think the only person around here with "KNOCK IT OFF" rights is JimRob. I refuse to abandon my 'self' just to vote for the one everyone considers ANYONE BUT OBAMA. There will be others on the ballot that are not Obama, I will pick the one I believe would serve our country better.

Well, I won’t be voting for some damned abortionist/homosexualist statist like Romney for the presidency and that’s for sure. Hope you don’t intend to tell me to knock it off. Won’t do you much good if you do.

Let's say that Romney isn't the most liberal governor. Let's say that he was exactly as liberal as Jerry Brown, Floyd Olson and Howard Dean.

How does that make him an acceptable Republican nominee?

So you’re saying that Mitt Romney is just as much a communist as Barack Obama? Because I consider those three to be communists or the next best thing. If that’s the case, we’re already done for. What do you suggest?

We are losing our country to godless socialism and what does the GOP do? Run an abortionist/homosexualist statist whose socialist RomneyCare program was the blueprint and impetus for ObamaCare! Screw that!! I'll vote for the GOP's candidate for the presidency when they run a CONSERVATIVE!! Otherwise, to hell with them!! The GOP is fast becoming cementing their place as part of the problem! Wake up America!!

And there’s a better chance of him picking a non-NBC running mate like Marco Rubio than someone like Sarah Palin or Newt. Pretty sad when President Nixon or Bush 41 start to look good.

Well, I’ll break it to you gently. It’ll be a cold day in hell before I ever vote for an evil abortionist/homosexualist statist bastard like Romney for the presidency!! And it doesn’t matter a damn to me who his running mate is.

Edmund Burke said all that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

Romney seems to me to be more of a weathervane type politician, who does what he thinks will win him popularity points. In the Peoples Republic of Mass, those were popular positions. Some even argue that it is the duty of elected officials to represent their constituents’ views. If he’s just a weathervane, we will have a fighting chance to influence policy.

There seems to be no real chance of a committed red-diaper baby like Obama coming our way for any reason, other than disarmament, incarceration or the like. I don’t think we can afford two more communists on the Supreme Court for the next thirty years. It really is either Obama or Romney for the future of our Republic.

C’mon. Take the GOP-e blinders off. Romney was an abortionist/homosexualist/statist long before he ever ran for office in Massachusetts. His whole damn family was that way. Mama, papa, all. Godless/statism/abortionism was instilled in him since childhood. Lying to gain advantage/power, too.

And he held that position (abortion should be safe and legal in America) ever since his abortionist mama ran for senate 40 some odd years ago:
