What did you really expect from a schism that was founded by a man who would murdered/divorced multiple women for not bearing sons.

The Episcopal Church became a "Full Communion Partner" with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America through the agreement "Called to Common Mission" which was adopted by the ELCA in 2001.

Therefore:

Lutheran (EL C S*A) Ping!

* as of August 19, AD 2009, a liberal protestant SECT, not part of the holy, catholic and apostolic CHURCH.

Be rooted in Christ!

Both in the Catholic and Episcopal ceremonies of marriage, the central and essential action is the giving of the ring, or exchange of rings, together with the words, “With this ring, I thee wed, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, Amen” (wording from the Book of Common Prayer, but essentially the same as the Catholic rite).

The writer of this article evidently didn’t think to mention whether or not THOSE words are used in this new “marriage” service.

Baptized and confirmed an Episcopalian, but the Episcopal Church left me, and I have broken ties. Now consider myself a conservative, Bible-believing Anglican.

A Church of God that is in touch with the Bible cannot approve of same sex marriage: Therefore Etc.Etc.

They are not a Church any more than Scientologists are.

“For some people, it's going to be troubling,” Bennison told the Inquirer.
“For others, it's going to be thrilling.”

*************

I wonder...
....if they wonder how God Almighty feels about it...??

Doubt it...

How long until I find it in the Book of Common Prayer?
