Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. Grappling With 'Physical and Emotional Ailments' (He's institutionalized)
ABC News ^ | July 5, 2012 | Amy Bingham

Nearly two months after taking a leave of absence from Congress, Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr.'s congressional office today said he is being treated at an "in-patient medical facility" for an unnamed ailment.

"Recently, we have been made aware that he has grappled with certain physical and emotional ailments privately for a long period of time," Jackson's spokesman Frank Watkins said in a statement. "At present, he is undergoing further evaluation and treatment at an in-patient medical facility."

Jackson took a leave of absence from his House duties in early June because of "exhaustion." His condition is now "more serious than we thought and initially believed," Watkins said.

"According to the preliminary diagnosis from his doctors, Congressman Jackson will need to receive extended in-patient treatment as well as continuing medical treatment thereafter," he said in the statement.

Jackson, who was first elected to Congress in 1995, is running for re-election this year. He is also being investigated by the House Ethics Committee for allegedly offering money to former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich's gubernatorial campaign in exchange for President Obama's vacated Senate seat.

Medical professionals are close to establishing the root of his condition. They determined after a series of long mental test that it originates in his hatred of squirrels, and his desire to starve the critters with his constant muttering “I want to cut of his nuts”

"said he is being treated at an "in-patient medical facility" for an unnamed ailment."

I wasn't aware that doctors had discovered a way to transplant a conscience.....

I’d actually feel for him IF he wasn’t being investigated.

Sounds like he has a mental condition bought on by stress.
Think bipolar schizophrenia

Exhaustion? Really! Another lib word redefinition like the use of siezure instead of intoxicated in the case of (D) john Byson a zero appointee. Taken for face value because the obamscumedia always reports the truth. Marblemouth jr probably has a drug problem

“This is what happens when a lib develops a conscience.”

More likely about to be caught in unethical/criminal actions. ‘Goin’ for the sympathy card.

I get the biggest laugh when I see stories of how the "beautiful people" are admitted to the hospital with "exhaustion".In 20 years of working at a large hospital I never saw a single patient whose admission diagnosis was "exhaustion".

Schizophrenia? Yup.Drug addiction" Yup. Alcoholism? Yup.But never "exhaustion"

The sad thing is no matter what he’ll probably be re-elected in a landslide.

Yeah, given the father! How about the rest of that family tree?

Could anyone really expect a better outcome after being reared by the Rev. (”Love Child”) Jackson?

This is just a scam. The ethics investigation is getting real close, so he feigns illness to stop all the proceedings, garner sympathy. Eventually he will resign and no further charges will be pursued. He either came up with this plan from consultations with others that were involved with it, or his party leaders have made a deal. He goes and so does the charges. Kind of like when Rick Hendrick, the hugely wealthy care dealer was caught in a massive bribery scandal. In the midst of his trial he comes down with a devastating disease (leukemia I think) Too sick to prosecute, near death. Trial is abandoned, and then he has a miracle recovery.

Don’t agree with anything he says, but he probably has very severe problems to be hospitalized for mental difficulties. I’ll pray for him. And may the Spirit open his eyes to truth.
