Here I have a well and do not have to pay for water but for electricity.

My gardens are all over the place....a sprinkler really wouldn’t work.

But hey, I’d save it too were I you.

My plants are mostly annuals but I’ve got some periennials that are suffering.

Wish I could send you my water. Here in the swamps of Delaware the water table is way high. Can’t have basements because of it.

Never run out of water but *I* run out of steam.

Next couple of days I’ll assess the damage.

The arguments you present are very reasonable and they are the same ones we heard when Bush II was running - both times.
And yet we have more larger and more overbearing G’memt. EPA regulations are strangling the Oil industry, they have killed the Coal powered Electrical utilities and coal industries.

I do not see Mittens as the answer. I do hope we can elect enough congressmen and senators who believe in a limited G’ment. I have so little hope

I do not recall how much legislation Bush II VETOED.

I see it as us being the frogs getting boiled slowly by the big G’ment take your pick (Republicans, Democrats) vs. being thrown into the gulag by the Fascist who supported the industrial bailout of GM and Chrysler. Similar to Krup in Germany during WWII

Bray,

The woman has children and especially grandchildren.

Every time I ask her, what about your precious grandson?

He’s a bright, happening young man whose parents are struggling to raise him right. This is husband’s brother and they are very, very conservative.

She kind of shrugs and says she won’t be around.

Just damn.

I don’t think I’ll have any trouble at this point in my life, but I GOT A GRANDDAUGHTER I CARE ABOUT!!

I sure want her to have the America I grew up in.

I’ll never get that this generation is so selfish they don’t care about their children.

At least with my liberal mother-in-law and her Independent ilk.

Whatever your wrens are up to, be thankful you don’t have my house sparrows. They are wicked birds, and not stupid either. Hard to remove and bent on taking over the territory. They have a jihad on bluebirds and will destroy same whenever they find them. (Our sweet bluebirds are a vanishing breed.)

The winged rat sparrows are too small to shoot and anyway they like to use shields like...your house, your barn, your electric wires, stuff you don’t want to blow away.

Next year I may invest in a ferret or two.

I believe that Presidents come and go, but real power over the long term resides in Congress. I am pinning my hopes on TEA Party candidates winning Congressional seats across the country. The don’t get as much credit as they deserve, but the GOP freshmen have been holding Boehner’s feet to the fire. If we could have a repeat of 2010, Congress could make even Willard look Conservative. Romney was not my first choice or even my third choice, but right now he is my only choice. On his worst day he is vastly superior to Obama on his best day.

FAST and FURIOUS [Romney is silent and hiding] He should have been and be outspoken. Where is HE?

Dec 2011

After spending months dodging the question, Republican presidential candidate and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney demanded Attorney General Eric Holder’s immediate resignation or failing that for President Barack Obama to fire him because of Operation Fast and Furious.

According to the Associated Press, Romney told reporters in New Hampshire Saturday that Holder has “brought shame” on the Justice Department through his handling of the Fast and Furious scandal.

A local hotel has closed for a major renovation leaving several of their employees out of a job. A local fraternal organization who rents their hall for weddings etc. was looking for someone to run the banquet operations at a salary in the low $30,000 range. Several of these unemployed but qualified employees were approached about this position. They all declined. Their reason - not working was the best option for them right now based on the current unemployment and other benefits they would receive. I”m not repeating this story. I personally talked to them.

Brilliant example of how Cloward Piven works. Design a system that is so foolproof it ultimately will tank the govt. through massive govt. spending no matter how hard people work to pay the bills.

Obviously some local and state governments are learning the hard way now as legacy costs of pensions and benefits for firemen, police, etc. govt. workers are so vast they have overwhelmed some cities and towns and soon states that bankruptcy is their only hope.

IMHO,one of the answers is to instill in the populace the idea of govt. service. To begin with we need a govt. that people respect not use. We should fire every other govt. worker and rehire govt. workers who are interested in govt. service. Retired people who really want the govt. to make a difference through the use of capitalism and self worth not needy support of a big left wing type of govt. that is unsustainable and unworkable.

Ironically, as in greece, many of these cities still don't get it even after bankruptcy its an entitlement mentality fostered by communist/Democrats for 40 or 50 years now that is difficult if not impossible to stem.

It takes bray like types, Rush Limbaugh types,Marco, Sarah types of personalities to get our messages across and they have not gone into full gear yet.

Let's hope they do and soon.

I KNOW how to do HTML, sir. I have been here since 1998.

The question is WHY should one have to do it, when other sites allow you to post images more easily?

So thanks for showing off your skills. I am not particularly impressed, but perhaps some other people are.

Here, interpret this:

Its not that we don’t pay attention its that many are surrounded by a relentless DBM that constantly pounds out the commie way and how wonderful it is. Often ignoring common sense and just what occurred under Bush 43.

Why dont republicans ever attack obama and this economy??? I just heard some dips#!t dem governor saying bush had record debt and unemployment. He should have been halted right there with the simple phrase “ The unemployment rate right now, 3 1/2 years into Obama’s reign is higher than it ever was under Bush.”

Bush’s worst day for unemployment was also Obama’s best day—inauguration day.

I guess you need the same guidelines I gave the other sore loserman.

1. Extinguish all commies.

2. Extinguis all Rinos.

You do it in that order so as not to lose the country.Duhhhhhh....,try and learn it. I know its tough when you have so much anger built up over not getting your way but try anyway.

Think Metamucil it always helps you old guys.

Obama is being attacked every day by the GOP over the economy. Romney's ads do it constantly.

You make an excellent point on “ideological purity”.

1. Bush I gave us Suter - Constitutional property rights of Eminent Domain overturned

2. Bush II gave us Roberts
Democrats won elections and their “ideological purity” gave us more EPA mandates, more Taxes, less health care and more waiting times

3. Where is the “ideological purity” of the Republicans?

throwing a wet blanked on you is not my intent. I just do not have the same “ideological purity” for Mittens that you have.
