DNC Chair: 'Pretty Happy' With Private Sector Job Growth
The Blaze ^ | 7/8/12 | Erica Ritz

DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz seemingly had her own “doing fine” moment on Fox News Sunday, where she said she was “pretty happy” with the state of the private sector.

(Related: President Obama: ‘The Private Sector is Doing Fine’)

Fox News’ John Roberts began: “So then, is the suggestion that we should just do keep doing the same thing? There’s that old definition of doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result…”

Wasserman Schultz assertively responded: “What we should do… I’m pretty happy about 28 straight months of job growth in the private sector.” [Emphasis added]

The timing coincided with former White House spokesperson Robert Gibbs’ admission that “we‘re not growing fast enough and we’re not adding enough jobs.”

Fox’s Roberts immediately pointed out that only 80,000 jobs were added last month, and 69,000 the month before that. Moreover, June’s job report marked the 32nd time that the White House urged voters to ignore employment data, and unemployment remains at 8.2%.

A Romney spokesperson responded to the campaign’s earlier claim that we are “going in the right direction” with a sarcastic email, writing: “Seriously?”

“It requires adding about 130-150k jobs a month to simply keep up with population growth; only 80k jobs is LOSING [sic] ground.”

This rodent is seriously the gift that keeps on giving. If Romney had any brains he would DVR every time Debbie is on TV and just make an ad on the idiotic garbage that comes out of her mouth

I don’t normally watch the Sunday am shows.
But I turned on the tv and saw her nasty mug and listened for about 3 minutes.

She was claiming that the jobs recovery was “much better” than that of the recession after 9/11.

What a bunch of horsesh!t.

That stupid bitch is gonna get her come up-pin’s. Obama is a marxist and that doesn’t bode well in a self-work society.

Saw it on the FOX Neocon Channel (FNC). Threw up my bagel and lox immediately afterword.

The fact that she comes from my state is an embarrassment.

There was, in fact, just about ZERO job growth, as the number of those who took disability as a way of escaping the curse of joblessness was virtually equal to the number of new jobs “added”.

The overall population growth in any given month EXCEEDS the number of jobs “created”. And now, with the sort of backdoor amnesty extended to some 800,000 undocumented children who arrived within our borders and are now between the ages of 15 and 30, the job market as it exists cannot absorb all them as well, as others shall have to be excluded from the rolls of new hires to make room for them.

The inventory of people available for work is still way too high for the economy as it is currently being practiced to absorb them.

Our greatest export product may well prove to be unemployed Americans. If there is any economy out there that could possibly accept them.

India isn’t looking so bad right now.

Reince Priebus came on immediately after and said that Debbie was from the moon.He did an outstanding job and when Deb said that Mitt needs to come clean about his off shore tax free money he showed the excellent rebuttal that Mitt’s people had turned into a commercial.

Priebus was masterful.

Deb was not amused.

Too bad about your bagel.

I’ve been told that we need to maintain about 130,000 new jobs per month just to break even with new people entering the workforce every year (high school & college grads, etc.).

Above that number will be used to absorb the people that have been unemployed. 80,000 new jobs with 130,000 +/- new workers is NOT progress.

Don’t forget these are the same people who think welfare checks are a plus for the economy.

To label DWS a rodent is to insult an entire species. Granted a rodent somewhere may have done you some harm, you could show a little decorum and not paint all rodents as equivalent to the noxious pus-filled canker heading the demoncrap party.

That chick is a stupid as she is ugly. And that is a whole, helluva lot of ugly. I’m wondering if she is a dude with a sex change? Isn’t her full name Debbie Was-a-man Schultz?

I would have compared her to a cockroach but even they have enough intelligence to go towards light, so even a cockroach is smarter than Debbie

This economy needs growth in order to produce jobs. Marxists have no clue and no desire to stimulate growth.

They're whistling past the graveyard.

Your embarrassed that she is from the state...heck I am in that district. but we have a loaded pubbie primary next month with two really good candidates. God willing, maybe we can oust that witch in Nov.

Funny story...we were doing a welcome home Warrior gathering at Ft Lauderdale airport on a Fri afternoon a year or so ago at the same terminal that blabbermouth uses. It was priceless to see her face when she saw all of the red white and blue, balloons and such and for a nano second thought it was for her. She could not move fast enough when the booing started.

Priebus certainly won that exchange, for sure.

“Too bad about your bagel.”

Thanks. It was darn good lox. Pity.
