The Winston-Salem Journal, has reported that the group is saying, up to 20,000 Muslims will be in attendance to the celebratory happenings.

Not sure but I was booking my weeks down there months in advance to be sure I got the same room.

I was NOT able to book those weeks at all, because everything was full everyplace.

But the last time I made my reservations they asked me if I wanted the master suite at my normal rate that week (normally a $300 a night room, going that week for $500 a night)- it “became available”

Where to send a sizable donation should have been those vendors first call. Without that the next ones are wasted.

Not necessarily. As far as the pork restriction goes, they have an out. Imams often field the question as to the choice of eating pork or starvation. Most usually answer that although it is still forbidden, if it comes down to it a Muslim has to do what is needed to survive. If pork is the only food available to prevent starvation then they can eat it. But they must do extra purification rituals afterward. This then gets rather subjective as some Muslims will go into a BBQ places parking lot and say “I'm starving. This is the only food around.”
