The atlantic is as interesting to read as the Minneapolis phone book.
I'm sure the do. Some of them are Democrats, some of them are Socialist Worker's Party, some of them are Greens. Some of them are ELCA, some are CINO's and some are atheists. Some of them are high school teachers and some are lawyers.
Most of them went along with the ELCA when they needed to sponsor black Somali Muslims to colonize America, but were nowhere to be found when black Darfur Christians needed help.
Occasionally one is prompted to wonder what might be the average IQ of the common or garden variety American suburb.
As a lot of so called Christians voted for Barack Hussein for the Presidency. If my wife were to campaign for the fraud and anti-Christian State recognition or elevation of fornication, adultery, and prostitution to the status of marriage equality-— I would consider such an annulment of the marriage vow. Until someone more wise than I can show me in the Sacred texts—or in the earlier law in America where this blasphemy ought be sanctioned by any State I will continue to oppose the dilution of “marriage”.If two people of the same sex can be “married” in the eyes of the State?—
WHY can’t a child marry his fathers wife? Why can’t a man
divorce his wife— and marry his dog— or his Television set? Why can’t some dirty old man marry the young boy entrusted to his care ,as a Coach? Why cant a man have two wives or twenty? Why can’t a five year old girl marry a prophet or warlord? “Legislation based upon the basis of the idea of the family,as consisting in and springing from the union for life of one man and one woman in the Holy estate of matrimony;...’ US supreme Court Murphy v. Ramsey and Others 144 US 15,45 (1885) I can agree with -any other lay opinion I cannot. Moses(Genesis) Jesus( Matthew) and the Apostle Paul( 1 Corinthians) all spoke of “marriage” as between one man and one woman—as did James Wilson in the founding era (College of Philadelphia,Lectures on American Law) and the US supreme Court ,(1885) what a shame to throw all that away for the false promise of peace, and happiness.
Church ladies? Have they also forgotten God and the beauty of His wisdom?
“...Church ladies...”?
How about “meddlesome shrews”? (I’m being kind.)
It is probably going to be much closer than NC, I think.
Freegards
“...come from different political parties.”
Democrat,Marxist,Socialist,Communist,Black Panther, etc.
But, there is one common thread here...they’re all stupid
liberals!
...But the one thing they all have in common is they all love obama.
Is there any way to ban the ELCA from using the term Lutheran?
I wish. Lifelong LCMS and I now cringe to tell people I’m a Lutheran—I always add an explanation that I’m not one of those Lutherans.
I don’t get it. Gays and lesbians have the same right to marry as I do.
They just don’t like that right.
eff um and their special rights.
From the closing of the piece, it is clear that these middle aged women believe they have a crack at doing what those who supported the 1960s civil rights did: Looking noble in the face of bigotry. Except this issue is far more complicated, more dubious, less about civil rights and more about an agenda of selfishness and control.
It is just stunning to me that the gay agenda was able to fly the banner of “civil rights” and “equality” - something which they themselves do not believe, but the idiots at whom they throw their propaganda do believe - and so many have swallowed it hook, line, and sinker:
“Our state is contemplating losing its soul.” ...
The movement has become exactly what Henderson envisioned when she first bought the flags. . . . “Maybe in seeing those flags, people will see that in this neighborhood there’s more support out there for this issue than they had assumed. Maybe it will get people thinking, and maybe give them courage. That was my hope.”
Sounds like a bunch of old ladies who are closet lesbians to me.
They are not Christians and will face that reality when they face HIM.

What this propaganda piece doesn’t tell you is that there is a much more populist — and no less determined — grass-roots effort to see this amendment passed. Never believe that the pro-homos are the only ones at work.
Interesting. So do any of these church ladies READ THE BIBLE?
I tell you, the way the media is hyping how much the people of Minnesota apparently LOVE sodomy, you wonder how the hell the measure got on the ballot.
