My wife and I were set to go on vacation, when upon arrival at the airport she realized she had left her wallet at home. We panicked, as time did not permit a return home w/o missing the flight. We spoke to the person at the counter, who asked us a few questions, had us fill out a form, then gave her a pass to go through security.

Even with allowance for occasions such as ours though, this 'testimony' reeks of politicalization and just plain BS.

I approve of citizens voting if they are adults, but adults don't whimper helplessly until their parents take them where they want to go. Adults solve their own problems themselves. It's time for her to grow up and take responsibility for solving her own problems (once she collects her payment from the Democrats for delivering the scripted testimony that liberals wrote for her).

There is an interesting discussion in the comments section after page 2 of the article at pj. According to some there, you can fly without a photo ID. The author has some comments posted there.

The worst thing is, her testimony may lose the case for the Texas voter id law due to the structure of the case.

I thought you had to show an ID to get into the DOJ building. Maybe that is just AG Holder’s office.....still, how did she prove she was who she said she was?
