Government documents filed by Mitt Romney and Bain Capital say Romney remained chief executive and chairman of the firm three years beyond the date he said he ceded control, even creating five new investment partnerships during that time.

Also, a Massachusetts financial disclosure form Romney filed in 2003 states that he still owned 100 percent of Bain Capital in 2002. And Romney’s state financial disclosure forms indicate he earned at least $100,000 as a Bain “executive” in 2001 and 2002, separate from investment earnings.

If true, could King Barack have his goons arrest Romney on felony charges?

They could but they won’t because it will be FAR more effective to make this drip drip drip all the way to November. You can count on them doing just that. Hussein will just sit back and let the press and surrogates tear Romney apart.

Romney is going to get slaughtered in November. I can not describe how upset I am “we” nominated this idiot.

Thanks SO much GOP Elite for this turd you gave us.

Unbelieveable.

Ya know, we say that too quickly. Could it be? Sure. But we are a minority just like the Dem base is a minority. This certainly has the ring of truth and time will tell. But the important thing is this should not be happening. We should not be stuck with this flaming idiot.

And while Romney was at Bain Capital, Obama was in the Chicago Mafia. And he still is.

Consider the source. They are going to twist and turn the normal business dealings until they wring his neck.

SEC has so many freaking filings most don’t even know what they say and there are many conditions that have to be met that don’t make much sense at all.

Not that Bain did it but it is common for companies to delay or include filings by reference when they have something to hide. The practice just makes it harder for the public to find the information. It is not withheld just made obscure. It is a legal practice. Something in line with never lie but don’t always tell all you know.

The cost of misfiling is so high prudent persons don’t take chances. This is all a steaming COS.

No big thing as we all forget the exact dates or years that we happen to begin or end a job.

Why can’t Romney just be straightforward and say truthfully that he was at Bain for however long he was there, and champion the hell out of the free market as he’s worked at and become so successful with?

Because Romney is a Kerry-esque flipflopper, McCaining his way through.

Every capitulation, every flipflop (like the recent 0bamacare embarrassment), every half-truth is a gift to the Zer0 team.

It’s like he WANTS Zer0 to win.

It wouldn’t matter who the GOP candidate is, the obama turds will be digging deep.

I imagine my resume might have a few errors as many times as I’ve updated it.

And while he sure wasn’t on my list of most favored candidate, Romney is NOT going to get slaughtered in November.

If anyone is sitting back and watching the implosion, it’s Mitt...he doesn’t need to say much until closer to the election.

"In Romney’s 2002 race for governor, he testified before the state Ballot Law Commission that his separation from Bain in 1999 had been a “leave of absence” and not a final departure."

Is this enuff to cover it ?

Hey don’t despair. This may be a good thing.

If there is substance to all of this smoke we may get the open convention that so many on this forum have been advocating for.

If Romney gets in hot water over this he may suspend his campaign and have to throw his support to another candidate.

We could get a real conservative candidate.

So, tell me again what crimes Bain committed?

I don't seem to recall any.

Refresh my memory. Please.

I can understand forgetting when you quit a job maybe 10 years ago, especially if it was a minor job. But, not when you owned a major corporation with a paper trail. Mittens was just trying to dodge negative attacks that would come from actions taken by Bain during years he was still there.

Exactly. We have to stop Obama.

The dilemma is, do we choose to ignore the bad things about Romney, such as this story just for the sake of ABO? Does that make us any better than the Rats? It’s a real conundrum we find ourselves in without easy answers.

"WE" being the idiots who were splitting the conservative votes in the primary to Saint Santorum and the super divorce-loving, Pelosi-couch-embracing Newties, and the "I'm just doing this to revv up my talkshow creds" Cainiac vote?

GOP Elite? LOL. INFIGHTING CONSERVATIVES are the ones who gave Romney his chance.

Now the infighting has a chance to give Obama a free ride to another term.

Idiots indeed.

It’s even simpler than that. I know my husbands company was bought 2 years back. While transitioning from one company to the other they kept management in place until the transition was complete. The head of the company was no longer head of the company yet he still had the same duties. Could it be that Mitt stayed there to during the transition to another CEO?? I think so.

"Everybody does it", how Clintonian....I know exactly the years I worked for every company I ever worked for, and that's precisely six different companies in my career.
