The question is:
Is there is a chance to throw out the Tyrant?

Why send the author of death panels and socialized medicine
who is riddled with other problems, as well.

This will go over most people’s heads, especially coming out in the summer. Just like all the oddities about Obama’s story.

Most people aren’t political junkies and aren’t amateur detectives. The media might push it, but it will be easy to obfuscate and make sound very confusing and technical.

Obama is going to throw out the outsourcing/layoff thing whether it is true or not....but it won’t fix the economy or lower the unemployment rate.

That pretty much sounds reasonable as the “true story.” Mitt probably did get benefits out of Bain after his leave of absence began, but wouldn’t have had any active input into directing it.

But that’s the trouble with a waffler who tries to characterize things a little too conveniently. (Bain did some things after Mitt’s leave of absence began that Mitt has said he was not part of.) Sooner or later he’s going to be called a liar with pants on fire, and he will have to busily unwaffle in order to explain it.

You can cede control and still be chief executive officer. It happens all the time for various reasons. The company is for sale but they still want the cachet of a famous CEO at the helm. The bring someone in to run day to day operations. Or, the CEO wants to move on, but they still want to give investors, employees, customers, etc. the appearance of stability while they groom a replacement.

There are scores of other reasons, but these two are the most common.

The CEO retains the title, but someone else carries out the day-to-day responsibilities. I have dealt with quite a numbers of vendors which have done the foregoing for a period of a few months to several years. Three years is about average.

In a former life, I was essentially acting CEO for a small operation while the elderly and respected CEO retained the title. When the board engineered a coup to drive him out, I left rather than betray his vision for the organization.

This is common business practice and there is nothing nefarious about it. Except in my particular case, it is far more common for the acting CEO to betray his former boss in exchange for holding power. Think Michael Eisner and Disney.

It is normal for a CEO to leave a company but remain for a number of years in an advisory position. This could go from 3-5 years. This is making, or attempting, to make a mountain out of a mole hill.

Why would Romney lie about this kind of thing?

Because Romney doesn’t want to admit that he was involved in the “business” of trafficking in the bodies of little boys and girls murdered in abortion mills.

And this is supposed to change my upcoming vote for him how? In light of the multitude of lies, mis-statements, screwups, more lies, treachery, subterfuge, collusion, taking of freedom, hatred for America, hate for infidels, hate for our forefathers and on and on and on and on...why should I give a damn about this. Just petulant diversion that don’t mean squat.

I didn’t want Romney, but we got him now. Regardless of the pessimism here, I’m not about to cut my throat because he is a Mormon, a capitalist, rich, etc.....

Regardless of the grody details, Mitt is going to have to step up to bat pretty soon. The balls of bovine excrement are coming in faster now. This is the perfect thing for Obama to confuse a sheeple base about.

He didn't just remain in an advisory position at Bain Capital through 2002. He remained the sole owner of the company through 2002.

And then he lied about it.

Yes the vote was split and Romney appeared to be on a mission to take what he seems to not want so that he could spoil the broth.

We probably disagree on who the best candidate was but we probably do agree that we didn’t get him. Is there any doubt though what or who is the lesser of two evils in the current race?

I didn’t get a chance to vote in a meaningful primary since Texas was disenfranchised by the court dithering over redistricting. It has all been intentional. I voted but it didn’t make a difference by then. I didn’t vote for Romney though.

I’ll tell you who else I didn’t vote for... David DewDrop the super rhino. Talk about a turd liar.

Did Bain dabble in companies like the Semtyx that PepsiCo only recently abandoned collaboration with? (I could never figure out quite how fetal kidney cells could report back on how good a sample of Pepsi tastes.)

More likely Obama fell among Gypsies and his fate is far worse than just being a Mafia employee.

He has to live the role.

Rezko and Blagoyevitch are, in fact, easily translated from ROMA.

Is “ceding control” incompatible with “being a sole owner”? I’d want more explanation. You can have the rights and still not exercise them.

You got that right.

I was a Cain supporter, but if he can’t handle the press and Gloria Alred during the primary, he can’t handle the office of President.

Then I supported Santorium, kind of.

And I like Gingrich, who is a good debater, but his person ethics did turn some folks off.

Lets not forget Ron “only constitutional candidate” Paul and his 9/11 lunacy and his legions of Paulbots that will ONLY vote for him.

Yep, we did this to ourselves. Now, we need to make the most of it and stand behind our man.

I’ve said it before...anyone, ANYONE, will be a better choice then Barack Obama.

They could but they won’t because it will be FAR more effective to make this drip drip drip all the way to November. You can count on them doing just that. Hussein will just sit back and let the press and surrogates tear Romney apart.

Yup. The media can ‘Watergate’ this all the way to November.

I remember that one summer during college, I worked construction, but i’m not exactly sure which year and one Christmas during high school I worked stocking shelves at Mongomey Wards, but I could not tell you exactly which Christmas.

I could see exactly how Mitt may confuse the years he had a past job.

And while Romney was at Bain Capital, Obama was in the Chicago Mafia. And he still is.

Yeah, but the media doesn’t care about that.

Any record filed with the SEC during that period of time where they should have been catching Bernie Madoff should be examined very closely for veracity.

Odds are good that what you are saying about filing at the last minute, or fashionably overdue, is probably targeting the same neighborhood of difficulty.

The documents can say what they say, but the reality behind them can be much different.

Although I'm skeptical of Romney having been a totally honest businessman, I would never accept a government form at face value.

In my own neighborhood I see families that have lost jobs and have had to moved in with their parents. My neighbor has to sell his house because of the downturn and move to a cheaper neighborhood and house. The wife is in tears.

A lot of people are suffering from Obama’s economic policies. For that reason alone I will vote for Mitt in order to improve the lives of the average Amerian citizen.
