I'll read the paper, but the bottom line here is that metformin has been around since 1922 and was FDA approved for diabetes in the early 1990s. There are a ton of people on it, but as far as I know no evidence that people with diabetes on metformin have an increase in brain function. That said, the results look interesting and I hope there is something here. Thanks for the alert.
