In a video interview posted June 2, 2012 on the French Islamic site Islametinfo, French comic Dieudonné M'bala M'bala calls for a Christian-Muslim alliance to counter "those who persecuted Jesus Christ [who] are the same as those who persecuted the Prophet of Islam" – i.e. the Jews – whose "satanic spirit... is now heading the highest international institutions."
On May 11, 2012, a Canadian promoter cancelled shows by French comedian Dieudonné M'bala M'bala at Montreal's Corona Theater, citing "contractual conflicts." The cancellation followed complaints over the plans to host Dieudonné, whose comedy has long centered around antisemitic, and Holocaust-denying themes, resulting in numerous convictions for defamation, both in France and in Canada. Also that week, Belgian police banned Dieudonné from appearing in Brussels, after determining that the content of his show violated local laws. [1]

"Islamophobia Is Being Sold And Conveyed From Hollywood To The Eight O'clock [French] TV News"; "There Is A Hyper-Powerful Lobby Which Does Not Say Its Name"
Interviewer: "[...] For many years, you have been facing harassment: you are not allowed to play on stage. Do you believe that your critics are the same as those who create an Islamophobic climate in France?"

Dieudonné: "Yes, I believe there is today in France an increasingly powerful lobby. The empire never was as flamboyant and beautiful as on the eve of its chaos, which I wish for, by the way. This American-Zionist empire, the Zionist lobby, tells us what is right, whom we should laugh with today, what we should laugh about, what to eat, how to care for oneself.

"It is clear that Islamophobia is being sold and conveyed from Hollywood to the eight o'clock [French] TV news. They [both] deliver us exactly the same fiction. With Sarkozy, it was not bad [said with sarcasm]. Now [i.e. under French President François Hollande], I think things will remain the same. Nothing is going to change. So I can confirm it – I have observed it myself: there is a hyper-powerful lobby which does not say its name and which organizes censorship."
The CRIF Dictated What Presidential Candidate To Vote For; The Candidates Had To "Validate Ultra-Zionist Ideas"
Dieudonné: "The annual CRIF [Representative Council of French Jewish Institutions] conference is the most obvious expression that this lobby is powerful. The two presidential candidates attended [the 2012 CRIF conference], and it seemed up to CRIF president to introduce the candidates for whom we should vote. To become the French president, it was necessary to validate ultra-Zionist ideas." [...]
"Muslims and Christians Should Unite" Against The Jews; "Together We Will Be Able To Fight This Satanic Spirit Which Now Heads The Highest International Institutions"
Interviewer: "What do you think of Islam in France and of its followers? Is it a pool of resistance? Do you envisage possible axes and alliances?"
Dieudonné: "I think the believers of the world – Muslims and Christians – should unite. Those who persecuted Jesus Christ are the same as those who persecuted the Prophet of Islam. It is always the same people. These are the people who serve Satan, and I dream that one day there will be a union between Christians and Muslims, because it is this ability to gather beyond religious boundaries – in deep belief in God... I hope that these boundaries will disappear, because all together we will be able to fight this satanic spirit which is now heading the highest international institutions."
Interviewer: "Excellent. Dieudonné, you are a known resistor. What advice can you give to French Muslims?"
Dieudonné: "[...] I believe that Christ is also in Islam. I think we should avoid falling into the hands of those who systematically divide [between us]. True, the Christian religion has been widely infiltrated by Zionism, but Christ never was – no. We must discern [between the two].
"I think there are sincere people and I hope that Muslims gladly welcome other believers. I believe it is in the spirit of Islam [to welcome others] [...]. Islam provides a space where sincere believers should meet, at some point."
