Robert Costa on Twitter: Top Romney source tells me no Condi.
More: Romney wants someone more comfortable in attack dog mode.
So instead of just waiting for more information like this, everyone just decided to go into collective freak-out mode this morning?
Well guess we cant say that conservatives are less emotional than you average DUer.
If Condi knocks Bain out of the news cycle this weekend, Mitt is a genius.
Two can play the “Change the Subject” game.
That would be Paul Ryan.
It's about time somebody on our side did.
If Sarah Palin was a pit bull, Allen West would be like a Rottweiler on steroids. He is more than comfortable in the attack role, he is extremely intelligent, great communicator, true conservative, unafraid of the race baiters, charismatic, hero status military credentials. He would be a great complement to Romney, the liberals hope Romney ignores him.
Hurray! Condi is pro-choice. Also, I think not right on foreign policy.
Please, Mr. Romney, pick a pro-life person who is smart, blunt, and witty.
They are going to have a field day going after the “Sweet Neo-Con.”
GINGRICH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if he wants an attack dog
Newt might be pretty good as VP....he could get the congress to do more than Mittens might want to do...
Plus, the VP debate would be spectacular.
This is good news.
You could tell that Palin was being polite last night when being asked about Rice.
They need someone who will slash and burn. Condi is a nice gal, but she ain’t it.
I used to think she’d make a great POTUS. Not after watching Palin in action. You need leadership genes for this job.
Best,
Chris
ALLEN WEST !!
ALLEN WEST !!
Allen West would be terrific. Paul Ryan would be terrific. Newt Gingrich would be terrific but my personal choice is Marco Rubio.
At any rate, Rice would be the WORST pick.
1. She’s pro-abortion.
2. She anti-Israel
3. In any event, she wouldn’t bring one black vote to the GOP side. So there would be absolutely no gain in putting her on the ticket.
Condie would be a terrible choice for VP—akin to Dewey’s choice of Earl Warren (1948) and Nixon’s choice of Henry Cabot Lodge (1960).
Romney needs Florida means Rubio will be the choice.
RE: Romney needs Florida means Rubio will be the choice.
But Romney needs Ohio just as badly. I’d rather have John Kasich than Marco Rubio. Kasich has more experience in all aspects of government — both legislative, budget and executive.
Plus, with Kasich, the issue of being Natural Born will not come up with FReepers.
Allen West is a rep from Fla and better yet he is NOT a Senator.
