Given that Mitt is Mitt, and that he’s the only viable choice being served up (short of a coup at the GOP convention) to oust the dearly execrated Barack Obama, it makes some sense to see who posterity might be — this person will probably be heir apparent to the next GOP presidential candidacy. Beauty, schmeauty! What would (person X) look like in the Oval Office. The idea of Condi Rice makes me a bit uneasy. Even Mitt would be more competent.
There is your VP nominee...
"I'd like to put these VP nomination rumors to rest once and for all. While serving as VP would be a great honor, I'd not be able to accept the office as I am not a Natural Born Citizen. My parents became US Citizens after my birth so by the eligibility requirements specified in Article. II. Section. 1. I'm not eligible.
The fact that the CommiecRAT Party lied about their usurper Obama's status doesn't change the Constitutional Natural Born Citizen requirement."
“shes not a politician,”
Never run for office means that she may not have been as vetted by the media as thoroughly as a VP candidate should be.
A VP announcement will not be made until the convention. The GOP wants the highest ratings possible. If they announced before the convention, the “suspense” factor would be gone.
Santorum would be a sane choice and might help in more than one way. Will Mitt suddenly find the backbone in his own religion when this Rick (”porn is #1 problem in USA”) Santorum finds his stride?
He isn't going to win those GOP States he won last time.
Those polls are way too anti-GOP.
The independent vote is going to swing strongly for Romney and the Democrats know it.
If he could ensure Penn. pickup, it would be very smart.
Many pro-Romney supporters are in denial. I watched it with McCain, too, ftD.
Everyone said those polls didn’t matter, that they were biased, out of touch, inaccurate, and on and on.
Turns out they were correctly tracking that race throughout.
Rasmussen is an extremely balanced pollster. If he says that at this moment in the campaign that Obama is leading with 247 electoral votes, then you can bet that the picture is pretty close to accurate.
Allowing crossover democrats to vote in republican primaries has given republicans a liberal candidate who approves of gay couples, gay couples adopting kids, and big government health care.
What exactly were they thinking? Santorum was right....Romney is exactly the wrong guy to run against Obama.
Join us in voting for the only conservative in the race: Constitution Party candidate, Virgil Goode. Incidentally, ftD, Goode believes the same as you do.
The most important group will be the Independents and the polls admit that they are already strongly going for Romney.
The polls are trying to counter this by saying that the Democrats are more enthusiastic then the GOP.
But I don't see it, with a chance to end Obamacare, the GOP rank and file are itching to vote.
Obama has lost much of his own base.
He is not getting those GOP States such as Ind. Vir. NC, Fl., they are going back GOP.
So, I don't know where they are giving him 247 ev's.
The nation has been trending GOP for the last 4 years in every major election, this will not be any different, with the chance to put a dagger into the heart of Obamacare and get rid of this interloper once and for all.
I think Romney gets 300 ev's.
He might even win Mass. :>
