The U.S. Department of Agriculture's proposed rules for Animal Disease Traceability, developed in August 2011, are now in their final stages. They require identification of farm animals, such as poultry and cattle, that cross state lines.
Many farmers worry the rules would send them on a literal wild goose chase, forcing them to catch and hold down each bird to attach an identification tag.

Is this really necessary? Seems like this country has survived quite some time without this.
The only ID I want on my chicken is fried, grilled, baked, etc.
there will be a tax on every single chicken so a careful account of all chickens must be established - although I am being sarcastic, I’m probably not for off.
So chickens need ID but voters don’t???
Antonin Scalia would approve of this and claim that the law is legitimate as it is related to interstate commerce.
So let me get this straight. A frigging chicken has to have a unique ID to cross a State line, but requiring identification to cast a ballot is a violation of civil rights.

This is an undue burden on minority chickens. Many of them don’t have time nor money to drive to the DMV to get identification. This is just an attempt by racists to prevent them from getting to market. You KNOW they’re only going to check identification from the chickens with brown or black feathers.

It’s time that people get it in their heads that the majority of federal fascist bureaucrats are traitors and enemies of America and start treating them as an enemy. A good start would be ostracism from the communities they live in, harassment by county sheriffs and an ocassional fistfight.
Don’t worry - one of Zerobama’s biggest supporters is one of the biggest chicken farmers in the country. He will either get a pass - or he will get this killed - my bet.
