Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr.’s mother, Jacqueline Jackson, told a Rainbow/PUSH conference Friday that her son has suffered years of “enormous disappointment.”

“I’m not ashamed to say ... he thought he was going to be a senator. He thought he was going to have a chance to run for mayor. And young people don’t bounce back from disappointment like me and my husband,” she said.

"And young people don’t bounce back from disappointment like me and my husband,” she said.

LOL!

Look at this sentence.

"Young people don't bounce back from disappointment like me and my husband."

I agree. She and her husband have been disappointments. He cannot be expected to bounce back from THAT!!!

Sounds like a regular Nero. Maybe we should let him burn down a city and play a violin to cheer him up.

Since Chicago has a tendency to elect mayors over and over, JJJ realizes that by the time Rahm the Wonder Horse is done with his ride HE will be about 70. All that opportunity to do damage will be preempted.

He has to represent a district, and that means occasionally talking to people and (eww) shaking their hands and stuff. Got your sympathy right here, junior: ..l.

Are you serious? You hope this man will commit suicide in one line yet you implore that “G*d Save America” in another? I have no love of Jesse Jackson, his son, Michael, Tito, or any of them.....but are you serious?

I have great respect for Christianity and most Christians, but from what I know of the faith, this flies in the face of everything Jesus stood for. I do not understand your duplicity and frankly, I find it morbidly fascinating. How do you reconcile these two distinct parts of yourself?

I don’t understand why someone would want the distinction of being either the mayor of corrupt thieves or member of Harry’s Federal band of thieves.

I guess I just see no honor in thievery... Although honestly I have no desire to even be a Rand Paul of the U.S. senate. The very idea of Washington now makes me sick.

Is she calling her son a “loser”?

Yes, but she is too dumb to realize she said it.

I'm think the US made a big mistake with Article I, Section 9, Clause 8 of the constitution.

If they retained titles of Nobility, Jesse Senior would be a Baron or Earl by now, giving Young Jesse something he would succeed to. Meanwhile The Honorable Jesse Jackson Jr coud eschew politics in favour of a military career in a Cavalry Division.

“He imagined being the next Barack Obama? And he won his house race.”

They could make him Mayor of Guam if he promised to stay in the middle of it and not go near the edge.

he thought he was going to be a senator. He thought he was going to have a chance to run for mayor...affirmative action will do that to you - never let you develop a realistic picture of what you can and can't do and how other people value you - it's Obama's turn to learn next......

Bud distributorships pay much better than a poor Senator. Just ask Dad to shakedown another company

That's my take also.

Having a leftist Congressperson not voting for leftist legislation, because of their absence, is the second best thing to having a conservative Congressperson in that seat, instead, who isn’t voting for the same leftist legislation.

“And young people don’t bounce back from disappointment like me and my husband,” she said.” BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Didn’t the race-baiting poverty pimp’s wife point a gun at him when she found out about the love child?

Ahh, the memories.

Jesse’s secret lovechild

by SARAH CHALMERS, Daily Mail

The Rev Jesse Jackson

American civil rights leader the Rev Jesse Jackson has made a humiliating withdrawal from public life after it was revealed he had fathered a love-child.

The charismatic preacher admitted he had cheated on his wife of 38 years at the very time he was serving as a moral and spiritual adviser to President Clinton during the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

He was forced to make the public statement after it became clear the National Enquirer magazine was about to publish details of his affair with Karin Stanford, a fellow civil rights worker 20 years his junior. She gave birth to their daughter in May 1999.

The news came on the eve of George W Bush’s presidential inauguration, and is likely to overshadow plans by Jackson’s followers to disrupt the ceremony in protest at the Florida votes fiasco.

Jackson, a baptist minister and father of five, is the self-styled president of black America. An associate of the late Martin Luther King, he has earned a reputation as a moral leader.

He blew apart the image of a family man he had created, saying: ‘I am father to a daughter who was born out-side of my marriage. This is no time for evasions, denials or alibis. I fully accept responsibility, and I am truly sorry for my actions.’

The latest edition of the National Enquirer reports that the 59-year-old met Miss Stanford in the mid 1990s at the University of Georgia, where she was assistant professor of African-American studies.

The attractive academic made Jackson the subject of her doctoral dissertation, which she later turned into a book. It was while she was conducting research, sometimes in Jackson’s marital home, that the two became lovers.

When she completed the book, Miss Stanford went to work for Jackson at the headquarters of his Rainbow Coalition, which he had founded in Washington DC.

Colleagues at the organisation knew nothing of the relationship and when she became pregnant, assumed Miss Stanford’s lawyer boyfriend was the father. In an incredible act of hypocrisy - and one commentators say will do more harm to his reputation than the extra-marital affair itself - Jackson began counselling the Clinton family over the Lewinsky scandal at around the time his own lovechild was conceived.

He even took his lover to the White House to meet the president when she was four months pregnant. The trio are featured on a group photograph in December 1998 published in the magazine.

Jackson’s own wife Jackie has left him over the scandal, and his children - one of whom is a member of congress - are said to be horrified by their father’s actions.

Jackson says he has asked for his family’s forgiveness adding: ‘We have prayed together and through God ‘ s grace we have been reconciling.’ However, he also spoke of his love for his illegitimate daughter.

Jackson, who was himself born out of wedlock, said: ‘I know the importance of growing up in a nurturing, supportive and protected environment so I am determined to give my daughter and her mother the privacy they both deserve.’

Friends of Jackson say he is still close to Miss Stanford and pays her £6,600 a month in child support. Miss Stanford, who returned home to her native Los Angeles when she began maternity leave also told the National Enquirer she received £28,000 from Jackson before the birth.

Jackson, who says he has taken responsibility for his daughter’s ‘emotional and financial needs’, visits the little girl and her mother when he is in California. A DNA test has confirmed his paternity.

Jackson said: ‘I will be taking some time off to revive my spirit and reconnect with my family before I return to my public ministry,’ adding: ‘No doubt many close friends and supporters will be disappointed in me.’

Reads Psalm 109. David, a man after God's own heart, prayed for the death and destruction of God's enemies. And not only did God not rebuke him, but God included it in scripture.

If it's good enough for David, it's good enough for me.

Would it be better for jj to be saved? Of course. It would be great for all democrats to get saved (upon which they would cease being democrats as the two belief systems are incompatible) but I wouldn't hold your breath. Some people are just determined to remain evil.

So it's better for them to die than for them to remain alive and drag others into hell with them.

Hell, I'm lucky to have a job.

JJJr is a no talent political hack who would be washing cars if his old man wasn't a successful race pimp. Why should he be entitled to anything? What a loser and a pu$$Y!

I don't agree....JJ jr. probably would have ended up more successful had his dad not turned into a race hustler.

He would have had a respectable job as opposed to being a congressman.
