The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows Mitt Romney attracting 46% of the vote, while President Obama earns 44%. Five percent (5%) prefer some other candidate, and five percent (5%) more are undecided.
Amen, MrB!
Like Lewis Black (sp?) the comedian stated: Americans elections are a choice between 2 disgusting, vile, putrid buckets of sh**. You are going to carry around this bucket with you every day for the next for years. It's at your bedside when you end your day, make love with your spouse, sleep and dream, when the alarm rings, when you eat, exercise, read, drive, work, pay your bills, have a drink or a smoke, spend time with family or friends, go to the store, the garage wherever, that bucket of sh** will be there. Your job, as a voter, is to decide: Which bucket will smell the least offensive 4 years from now?
I already had enough of ODrama's stench.
Right....Mitt is going to choose Palin for running mate after he’s basically decided not to let her speak at the convention.
I still want Mitt to hit this jerk over the head, and he needs to do so with more crisp attacks, but I don't see that he's losing ground with his current strategy.
Although I don’t appreciate being called “a complete fool,” or “nuts,” I do of course hope that you are correct about Obama being defeated.
In a sane or rational America, the incumbent’s performance would have him at about 20% support. But published polls consistently have the race close.
As far as Obama being “beyond an amateur” - that did not prevent him from knocking off Hillary Clinton in the Dem primaries of ‘08, and winning the general election over a veteran senator and popular running mate.
I would love to be wrong about this. I would love a conservative victory, a Senate majority, and the tools to begin reversing the damage.
But between “shocking revelations” about Romney, and last-minute crises “solved by The One,” the road between now and victory in November is neither straight nor smooth.

Sorry about that.
Must have been a great ad for Romney...someone had it pulled.
People like you still think Romney may be replaced at the convention or other ridiculous nonsense. Some have posted that they prefer Keyes (I kid you not!) and hold out hope for that to somehow magically happen.
Some, like you, sulk and turn bitter.
You Romney lovers kill me. What? You think he is just great huh? You the idiot....if you think that he is not going to government like he did in Mass then you are dumber than I thought.
It’s coming. But think about it Romney did basically nothing while Obama spent $100 m and Romney’s now ahead!
Glad you made that point. Also, they live in states such as California, NY that carry a lot of electorial votes.
Obama is a desperate marxist liar who has failed America and hurt us with his bad economic policies.
What’s not to like? (/sarc)
Romney definitely needs to start aggressively attacking Obama, but he has to focus on Obama’s record and announced plan to increase taxes and further weaken the border. We all should remember what the media did to Bob Dole in 1996 with his “Stop lying about my record” comment in a debate against Clinton. He was portrayed as thin skinned, defensive, and void of any positive plan for America. Romney needs to articulate a straight forward plan for recovery, without tax increases, commit to a strong border, and pound Obama on his many weaknesses. Any defence of Romney’s own record should be left to his surrogates in the RNC and the various Republican pundits, otherwise the entire debate will become about Romney’s past instead of Obama’s present.
I NEVER said I was a Romney lover. But I am a realist and he is all we got. Unlike you bitter people, I work with what I have. I can’t stand whiners...people like you are worthless. Your post is poorly written. My suggestion is to rewrite and post it again. Best Regards.
Wait until they start in on his Mormonism. If the Obama people do that they effectively take the lackluster (aka crappy) job performance of Gov Romney in Massachusetts off the table.
If they make Mormonism the issue, Romney can point to his governorship as a clear example of separation of his religion from his government service. And THAT will be the topic, not the lousy job he did in government service.
So go ahead, dems, do it. I dare you.
I cant stand whiners...people like you are worthless.
I can’t stand people who accept the substandard. You are probably used to it since you probably have been that way your entire life. People like you are 100 percent the reason we are in the mess we are in. You are a follower and can’t go against the popular thinking. What a shame....ZERO PRINCIPLE. What a sad life you lead. If I can teach you anything it is to think for yourself and become a leader. Best of luck!
There is nothing you or I can do about Romney being the nominee. He won. He has over 50% of the delegates and they are obligated to vote for him on the first ballot.
Romney is the nominee of the Republican party. I can't change that and neither can you. This is where I choose to be realistic and those like you who choose to whine, which is very immature.
So what are your plans to do about it, if I may ask? You can't whine or complain. What is your plan of action?
Also -- the Law requires that a Corporation have a CEO. The shareholders elect the CEO. If one person holds all the shares, guess who the CEO is?
0bama figures that Americans are too stupid to know this.
