Any person, of either gender, who has ever used a condom, pill or other form of birth prevention has committed abortion in their heart and mind. I wonder if your Maker doesn’t all ready know that. Maybe you ought to look at the word hypocrite in biblical terms. You can “fool” lots of people but I don't think you'll be fooling’ your Maker.

>>At least, when I have to stand before my Maker,I can say to Him that I never voted for anyone who advocated and supported the murder of His unborn.<<

Yes, you will have to explain to Him why you supported someone who Kills the unborn wholesale and says that pregnancy is an “unwanted condition” he would not want his daughters to have.

Your vote for obama does that and much more against the unborn.

>>Consider me one of the math challenged then.<< obama thanks you for your vote.

Don't worry, sport. FDumb is the math-challenged one, not you. He's math-challenged the same way that legislators are when they describe failure to increase a budget, as a budget "cut." It's all the same emotion-generated fuzzy math.

REAL math is this: a vote for someone other than Obama or Romney at the top of the ticket, favors neither Obama nor Romney. You know it, I know, and they know it. But they don't like it because then they can't demonize those who refuse to vote the way they want them to.

You keep repeating that falsehood as if repeating it enough times makes it true.

I have already presented to you the scenaerio you and the rest of your math-retarded cohorts are creating. Pure math.

Quit lying to others so you quit lying to yourself.

You are voting for obama, pure and simple.

Be a man and face the facts.

See my tagline.

I've been convinced by the pseudo-conservative sellouts on FR that principles no longer matter, and that voting for the inventor of Obamacare is the right thing to do.

Hope y'all are happy. I'm positive my Dad (rest his soul), who taught me to eschew "going along to get along", isn't.

If you keep voting for Whoever the Republicans put in Front of us with an R beside his name, you’ll end up with the same POS R librul candidates.

Free Republic is not a republican website. It is a conservative website.

If Romney wins, we could have time to elect conservative people to Congress and local positions and turn the tide.

On the other hand, if Romney wins, particularly if he wins with a landslide and is boosted by what would quickly be characterized as a "popular mandate" rather than the embarrassing referendum against Obama it would actually be, conservatives in Congress would be outnumbered and outvoted by a coalition of moderate Republicans, Romney, and Democrats, who would embrace Romney's "progressive" brand of embracing global warming regulation, advancing of the homosexual agenda in everything from the military to adoption (meaning folks would be force to accommodate homosexuals and be punished if they declined, activist judges, tax-funded abortion on demand, and state-run health insurance. LOOK AT ROMNEY'S RECORD.

Do the math, please. Romney in the White House, supplemented by moderate Republicans and Democrats, would OUTWEIGH conservative opposition.

On the otherhand, conservatives in Congress would be backed by Republicans if Romney lost because those moderates would know they're next unless they dump the progressive schtick and move right.

The price of voting "against" Obama is that you must vote FOR installing a "progressive" like Romney as the defacto head of the Republican party. That price is too steep -- see my tagline.

The price of voting third-party is that you forfeit any influence over whether the D or the R statist gets the White House (a third party vote favors neither, protests by the math-challenged to the contrary), but the third party vote WILL weaken the mandate of whichever statist wins. EVERY SINGLE THIRD PARTY VOTE, from disillusioned Democrats, from Independents, from Environmentalist Wacko Pinheads, from angry Libertarians, and from had-it-with-the-charade conservatives, will serve to weaken the popular mandate of the next president. Seeing as how the next president is guaranteed to be a promoter of government tyranny, the weaker his popular mandate, the better.

I'm voting for that. You can go ahead and vote "against" Obama by voting for government tyranny, but do it with your eyes open, please.

Wise and timely warning:

Be sure it doesn't invalidate your ballot in so doing. I've read that in some localities it's a possibility and some liberal election judge might just jump at the chance. My vote for President will be for a candidate on ballot but will not be for Romney. Statism is statism regardless of whether it wears red or blue.

If the electorate were 4 people, 2 voting for obozo, 1 for Romney and one has a tantrum and votes 3rd party who wins?
***Conservatives already lost in your scenario. If it were a conservative candidate, 3 would vote for the conservative, 1 for Obozo, who wins?

As I stated above, I am no supporter of Mitt Romney. When I vote in November, I will cast a vote for Romney, but rather than a vote for him, it is a vote against Obama. Writing in Palin or Newt or anyone else, or voting for Virgil Goode or Gary Johnson is effectively a vote for Obama as neither of these fringe, third party candidates have a snowball’s chance of hitting double digits. This will likely be a very close election. We can not afford to let Obama win.

...any vote other than the ones for the Republican nominated slate are a vote for O’Bummer...

Patently false, Gertie.

Such a vote favors neither Obama nor Romney.

>>**Conservatives already lost in your scenario. If it were a conservative candidate, 3 would vote for the conservative, 1 for Obozo, who wins?<<

That is a different question. We have Romney, obozo and 3rd party. That is reality, not a silly alternate universe.

The answer is the 3rd part vote got obama elected. That is the math.

Barry, is that you?

What a BS statement. A vote for anybody other than Romney is a vote for Obama. It is an undisputed fact of political life. Slick Willy won because of fools voting for another big eared, (sorry Barry I know you are sensitive about your large ears), moron Ross Perot.

BTW-Barry what did you mean today when you said business owner’s didn’t really build our businesses ourselves? Too much “choom” before you stepped in behind the teleprompter? You’re such an idiot.

Those of us who watched the Ross Perot folly and saw its horrible impact ...

... of Clinton elected on a 43% plurality with 57% of the popular vote rejecting him, where his lack of popular mandate was so concrete that he got his ass creamed in the mid-terms with the Republican Revolution, a revolution that would likely never have happened if he'd been elected with a majority or if HWB had been re-elected?

Is that the horrible impact you're talking about?

Incidentally, I was as angry with Perot voters at the time as you are now. In 36 years of voting in every election, I have NEVER declined a Repblican on any ballot, ever, even including Schwarzenegger; 2012 will be the first time if it's O v R. Some of us move on and learn from our mistakes. How about you?

Okay, I get the math part. I get it. But, now a (plausible) hypothetical.

Florida
500 - "principled" conservatives vote for third candidate
400 - Obama's winning margin on election night

Math says?

***What you proposed was a silly hypothetical. Claiming that someone else’s hypothetical is silly, while yours is reality, well... that’s disingenuous at best. Why don’t you stop trying to separate conservatives from their conservative principles on a conservative website and go after the mushy middle RINO squishes that Romnuts has already determined he wants? He obviously thinks he can win this election without conservatives. So, go and follow your CINO leader.
