Yes the 2008 spread was 7 points BUT it was 39/32. This poll using a seven point spread at 36/29 tells you how hard they have to work to get Democrats to answer polls - it must be all that enthusiasm the media is telling us about going to their heads - making them dizzy and unable to come to the phone.

Again, registered voters and a Dem overcount means the real poll has Romney up a couple, just like Ras (who only uses likely voters) says.

Polls should go with the REAL demographic of this country- 40% Conservative, 35% Independent, and 21% Liberal. Bet you’d see some way different numbers then.
