Donald Trump argued Monday the Republican party needs to get tougher against the lies and deceit of President Barack Obamas campaign and said the reason Mitt Romney has held back so far is because the GOP nominee is a nice man.
Theyre trying to make a man whos done a good job look very bad, Trump said on Fox and Friends. They are using deceit. Theyre using lies. And I think Mitt is going to fight back very hard. In response to Obama campaign suggestions Romney either committed a felony by lying on SEC documents in the early 2000s or lying to the American people about when he left Bain Capital, Trump suggested Romney begin talking about the Rezko house deal, which Trump said was a felony or worse....

Another well-timed kibuki siren call to lull the conservatives into an acquiescent mood.
Will Mitt (be allowed to) take the gloves off? Or will the party bosses engineer another defeat from the jaws of victory?
Don’t be another McCain, Mitt.
I have an idea for Romney and his posse, they can just pretend BHO is a conservative then it will be easy for Romney and posse to campaign against him.
Why on Earth would Mitt get tough. Do people really think he wants to beat Obama? Seriously? Mitt is to the left of both G.W. Bush and McLame (believe it or not). If that doesn’t tell you everything you need to know then you aren’t paying attention.
I personally think that Romney will spend the rest of the campaign trying to defend himself, he will fail.
Having said that, I really think BHO and gang have something BIG on Romney (which is why they have been chomping on the bit wanting him to win), if he wins the nomination will be revealed soon after the convention, wait for it, if Romney withdraws for some "reason".....and we end with a brokered convention.
My advice to Romney ... don't make the same mistakes as McCain. Take the gloves off and kick ass ... nice guy tactics don't work.
For everyone else who can't stand Romney, just vote for Obama or quit whinning. McCain was lousy and many folks didn't turn out for him and we ended up with Obama; if Romney's worse then you know, vote Dem. Otherwise, be grateful for the choice however much displeased U be.

That would make my day. If so, bring it on!
....of course why would Zero risk running against a real conservative? Romney is such a bad candidate that I’m pretty he is who they want to run against.
We can still hope for change! Ha ha
Oh please, massive eye roll.
I do not vote for liberals whether they are R or D.
You really need to get over yourself.
Romney is a liberal, BHO is a liberal - I will will vote for neither.
You are correct BHO is terrified of running against a conservative, Romney is no problem to BHO, however BHO always destroys those he runs against.
I just want Romney and liberals like him in the GOPe to just go away OR we need a third party, to compete against the other two liberal parties.
“if Romney withdraws for some “reason”.....”
He is psychologically incapable of it. That would be tantamount to suicide/deicide for him. It will never happen.
Ditto the other left wind creep in this season’s election show.
“For everyone else who can’t stand Romney, just vote for Obama or quit whinning.”
Almost every day I get a letter from Willard or his catamites whining for my money. I’ll give him and his lackeys as much love and support as they offered the ‘gentile’ unborn in Massachusetts.
I agree Romney can not withdraw, the presidency goes beyond just being president for him.
