It’s not that big of a deal to contract with private companies to pick up your trash or to take your trash to the dump if you don’t want to spend the money. Lots of towns do it. It’s the property owner’s responsibility and the cost is passed on in rents when appropriate. With competition, it’s actually cheaper for a town as a whole.

But I wonder if they got rid of the diversity race and sex harassment divisions in the city and schools first.
