He cannot have any weapons, a bail condition imposed during an appeal hearing on June 29.

Becker was arrested on was arrested Monday, June 11, and charged on two warrants out of Quincy District Court, and 39 firearm violations. Becker lived in a three-story brick home just blocks away Coolidge Corner.

Police found swords, knives, and 36 guns, including several high-powered assault weapons in his home. All of the guns were unlicensed.

Becker is facing 39 charges, including eleven counts of possession of a large capacity rifle, 10 counts of possession of a large capacity firearm, fourteen counts of possession of a firearm, and one count of possession of a rifle. Free range guns are the best.

To take back America we don’t need no stinkin licenses.

Thats like Patton asking for permission to invade Normandy from Hitler.

All of the guns were unlicensed.

Would someone please explain to me what a "licensed gun" is. I have never "licensed" nor "registered" a gun in my life and wouldn't know how to go about it. Yet I often see this term. WTH does it mean?

Is it simply the ignorant writing of one of our "journalists"?

Knives and swords?

It’s a good thing he didn’t have any pointy sticks or clubs. Or slingshots or bows and arrows.

Yo, judge. How many of what is too many?

Romney signs off on permanent assault weapons ban

"Deadly assault weapons have no place in Massachusetts," Romney said..."These guns are not made for recreation or self-defense. They are instruments of destruction with the sole purpose of hunting down and killing people."

That Judge would hate me... I actually have slings, bows, and some other sharpy-pointing things.

No AK's though. Not a big fan of the 7.62x39 round. .300 Blackout has better ballistics. ;-)

Sad when I own legally in my state what this man was jailed for in another.

That is indeed a sad state of affairs. And this idiot, bedwetting, pathetic excuse of a judge should be tossed off the bench.

Off the bench? Day by day we're getting closer to group defenestration.

The contents of my gunsafe in MA (including a respectable collection of bayonets and historic military swords) would have given that liblezzie judge apoplexy.

Heck, just the "gear" I now load into the Jeep each time I go back to my range for a little recreation would make that b**ch want to throw me under the jail!

I can't express how glad I am that my safe, its contents and I and mine are now safely ensconced back home in God's Country!

what about this fascist judge asking why so many?

might as well ask why own so many cars?

why own a house with 3/4 bedrooms?

why earn more than 100k?

"Deadly assault weapons have no place in Massachusetts," Romney said...

Romney is an anti-gun liberal. We all know that by now, but the alternative is even worse.

but the alternative is even worse.

Sorry, it doesn't get any worse than depriving the people of the physical means to defend their God-given, unalienable right to life and liberty.

Samuel Adams' summation of the completed work of the Committees of Correspondence:

“Among the natural rights of the Colonists are these: First, a right to life; Secondly, to liberty; Thirdly, to property; together with the right to support and defend them in the best manner they can. … it is the greatest absurdity to suppose it in the power of one, or any number of men, at entering into society, to renounce their essential natural rights, or the means of preserving those rights; when the grand end of civil government, from the very nature of its institution, is for the support, protection, and defense of those very rights ...”

– The Rights of the Colonists (November 20, 1772)

Well let's see 0bama F- rating on firearms and radical socialist Romney F- rating on firearms and pro capitalist. Candidates are not one dimensional. when both of the suck equally in one dimension you have to look at the other criteria. Which one is worse?

I don't engage in debates about whether a bullet to the head or a bullet to the heart is "better" or "worse." It's foolishness.

These men are both gross violaters of their oaths to support and defend the Constitution. Therefore they are both completely disqualified. Period. End of story.

It's foolishness.

Nope. One of them is going to be president regardless of your and my opinions of them. So your straw man about bullet to head or heart is irrelevant. The real foolishness is your comment about end of story, because it ISN'T the end of the story. It isn't the "end of the story" because it will be either the marxist kenyan or the liberal masshole whether you like it or not.

You can vote protest for someone nobody heard of who would make a much better president than either of those two, but that won't really accomplish anything. I'm guessing the protest votes will be in the low single digits %wise and will be ignored by everyone.

At the point of sale in Massachusetts, the dealer fills out a state form with all identifying data on the weapon and to who it was sold. The form goes to the police department. I'm guessing that the information also goes to the State Police.

Thanks for the response.

So, I am understanding that in some states—certainly not mine—there is such a thing as a “licensed gun.”

Interesting.

My boss wants me to relocate to Mass from NH. The gun laws are probably the biggest reason I will not.

What the anti-gun lobby doesn’t understand is this is not a political fight were we just give in to the law. People will die if they try taking guns away and it won’t just be the wackos doing the killing.
