Napalitano: Obama suing every Republican governor to hinder Repub election chances
Neal Cavuto on Fox | 7/18/12

Posted on 07/18/2012 1:58:16 PM PDT by pabianice

On Cavuto now. Judge Napalitano explaining Obama's latest assault. He has ordered Holder to sue every Republican governor, claiming that their states' early voting rules are unconstitutional in that they "confuse minority voters." The judge claims this is a bald-faced move to drain Repub states' funds to defend against this frivolous tyranny. Also expected to make it more difficult for Red states to determine the winner of the presidential election as the count may also be held-up in court by Holder.

Pushing all of your buttons? He knows who isn’t going to vote for him. What does he have to lose if people blow a gasket at his actions? What does he gain?

“Reichstag via lawsuit.”

I suspect there will be a real Reich stag happening between now and the election.

Obama is a committed Marxist and this ideology commands that he retain power by any means possible.

I predict that he will lose the election and refuse to step down and claim he was defrauded in the election process. The fate of our nation will be determined by this next election.

Like Dylan sang, “there is a hard rain gonna fall.”

“Obama ordered Holder to sue...claiming...states’ early voting rules are unconstitutional in that they “confuse minority voters.” “

If the Republicans had a brain they’d be trumpeting “Obama thinks minorities are stupid.”

Unhinged.

Its gonna be a wild election.

I hope this situation finally compells the states to reassess their relationship with the federal government, which has been pretty one sided for the past 150 years.

While its true that democrats are easily confused, changing “early voting” rules won’t really help with that.

Ask your host. For me, I am not voting for either. I must be influential. Since the prevailing logic is that my failure to vote for Romney is a vote for Obama, that means that my failure to vote for Obama is a vote for Romney. Add those two votes to my write in and I get three votes.

Gov’s to DoJ:

Motion to dismiss.

No evidence to support the charges.
Shows bias against minority voters, by insinuating they may be confused by Voter ID requirements.

Suit is an attempt by DoJ and this administration to foster and support vote fraud.

I find it hard to believe even the federal gov has the resources to sue every republican state or the time for this to be effective...

That being said I can certainly see Holder suing tight or toss up states...

I wonder if the barratry laws in Texas would apply in this case.

If each city and each county of each state brought suit against Holder under state law for civil rights violations under state law for inteferring in the rights of the voters in those states it would keep Holder awfully busy. It would take the entire DOJ just to answer them all - any defaults of failure to appear and warrants issue.

claiming that their states' early voting rules are unconstitutional in that they "confuse minority voters."

I'm confused.

I thought the argument FOR early voting was that it made it easier for minorities and the elderly to vote, because it expanded access to the voting booth.

Now they're claiming the opposite, that it confuses minority voters?

Since the prevailing logic is that my failure to vote for Romney is a vote for Obama, that means that my failure to vote for Obama is a vote for Romney.

I think the underlying assumption here is were you to vote that you'd be inclined to vote for the republican candidate, not the democrat one.

Incorrect or not, it is the underlying assumption.

Obama is LITERALLY fighting a war against us using our own government to do it. If this America hating evil thug gets another term there will be blood in the streets before it is all over.

Throw into doubt any election rule and you have grounds to claim irregularities which puts the election in doubt.

When you manage the election irregularity, you have a head start in your lawyer’s arguing your side.

I’ve seen this used twice in the last two Washington state governor’s races (which the D’s stole twice).

Yes, that is the problem. The GOP assumed that a lot of people would vote for the lesser evil.
