Who was President in 2004 when this agreement was signed?

Yes, taxpayer money used by Obama to advertise to illegals to come up to our USA, jump the border, sign up for freebie benefits (no valid ID required), work for cash so employers figure illegals are cheaper than citizens, get to the head of the line by being deemed a minority and vote (no valid ID required) to make Obama emperor for life.

Obama? Are you sure this is one of his programs?

How did Obama get Bush's USDA Secretary to sign this agreement in 2004?

A better question is why didn't we know about this until now?

And we can blame Obama if it's going on under his watch as well.

Bush was very busy during his first term helping Mexicans help themselves to America's prosperity. If you want to read the gory details about the items below, visit my FR home page.

Partnership for Prosperity Agreement (with Mexico) - signed, September 6, 2001.

New Alliance Task Force - created May, 2003.

US Social Security Totalization Agreement with Mexico - signed June 2004.

During the 2004 Presidential election cycle, I tried (in vain) to get conservatives on this site to hold Bush's feet to the fire over the above. The most common response I got was 'And, what? Vote for Gore?'

In 2007, Bush's Mexican policies came home to roost and we got the housing meltdown as a result.

As the saying goes, we get the government we deserve.

Did any one ever doubt that we have politicians and bureaucrats from both parties siting around trying to find new ways to give more taxpayer money away?

So when do we get to the part where people in our own government stand up to this administration and refuse to do what they’re ordered to do???

I heard some of it lastnight. We are marching towards full SHTF/WROL. I’m more convinced of it everyday. I saw this stuff coming 7 years ago and it’s accelerating even worse than I thought. I’m glad I started prepping back in 2007.

Look to Milton (Open borders and the welfare state)

A decade ago, Nobel prize-winning economist Milton Friedman admonished the Wall Street Journal for its idée fixe on open-border immigration policy. “It’s just obvious you can’t have free immigration and a welfare state,” he warned.

In case anyone’s still in doubt as to the ultimate goal of the Amnestinians:
“Opening borders with the redistributionist state still intact will result in a larger and more confiscatory government.”
