ST. PAUL — Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton says he's sorry he compared NFL players in trouble with the law to returning war veterans.
The first-term Democrat apologized Thursday in a statement, saying he made a poor analogy when he used the comparison in an interview Tuesday with Minnesota Public Radio.

He damn well should be sorry... Comparing our brave fighting men and women with out of control punks who think they’re above the law; and if not for football, would more than likely be behind bars.

Yeah, I get tired of being accused of voting for Franken and Dayton just because I live in MN. I get a kick out of all of the Ben Stein supporters here...(OOOH....Have you seen his movie?)
He supported Franken and sent money to his campaign.
