I have lived on base and can tell you, you are full of bs.

I love your comment about how we don’t even have to worry about furniture. It is obvious you have never lived in base housing.

Thanks for your service...Semper Fi!

I was lucky: four years on AF bases during my tour in Germany. Facilities were much better than at Army bases.

I can remember being stationed in Germany and living not on base but in a small town near the base. The military did provide some furniture for members at the time. In the on-base housing or established housing areas, each domicile was furnished.

The point is that there are service members here representing eras from Korea, Vietnam, Iraq 1/2, Afghanistan, etc. I'd hazard to guess benefits, policies and procedures have varied quite a bit.

Regardless of those trivialities, in my 8 years I never heard of 'depravities' 'sex-dungeons' and the like. Frankly, something like that would be too hard to hide.

well we had base (althugh i the Army it is called “post” not “base”) furniture, but it was in the 80s....so guess it’s not so “obvious” because I did indeed spend years in BOQ, it was Army, maybe we had furniture and the Marines don’t Idk.
