WATCH: GOP Congressman Shouts At Janet Napolitano

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX), one of the five Republicans behind the controversial letter accusing Clinton aide Huma Abedin of ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, insisted Thursday morning to Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano that he doesn’t accuse anyone of anti-American behavior simply because they are Muslim.

“You follow me around the world, you see me hugging Muslims around the world, because the ones I hug are our friends,” Gohmert told Napolitano during a House Judiciary Committee hearing. “This administration seems to have a hard time recognizing members of terrorist groups who are allowed into the White House.”

Gohmert’s questions were specifically in regards to Mohamed Elibiary, an appointee on President Barack Obama’s Homeland Security Advisory Council who was accused last year of leaking intelligence documents that reflected poorly on Texas Gov. Rick Perry.

I’ve seen him a few times on FNC lately. He tells it like it is and is not afraid of the DemocRATS. We need more in Congress like him.

I’m sure the only leaks she cares about are those involving lesbian sex... and I don’t know, or want to know, what those kind of leaks might entail.

I was wondering why Perry's primary campaign imploded so quickly.

Shocking! Napolitano is allowed to run a scam on the House of Representatives and come away with a tap on the wrist as nothing more than “unresponsive”.

If Republicans had any media at all in this country, this little video would be sailing from coast to coast.

We are infiltrated. It has become apparent. The intentional infiltrations call for impeachments en masse, but instead it is the messenger who is openly and broadly slandered by the usual suspects among the REPUBLICAN ESTABLISHMENT who have no intention of either defending nor heeding the damn message.

The McCain, Graham squishes sit on their laurels with their military medals solidly lodged up their darkest orafice and DARE to play one more favors exchange with Hillary, over her top aide!

Hillary should be impeached. Napolitano should be impeached. The AG should be impeached. Obama should be impeached. The military brass who harped on saving the Fort Hood shooter’s reputation as a just a local nut case should definitely be impeached.

Or else, what? FOLD?

BACHMANN FOR PRESIDENT, 2012

this could make an ad - yes or no questions simply not responded to.

unfreakin’ believable. what if this was a R admin?

Gawd the press sucks. No wonder they continue to shrink and lose money. They aren’t the sharpest tools. We’ll pay for good reporting.

Liberals do not care about innocent life. They like coming up with rationalizations to endanger and kill their enemy - the American people. That is what political correctness is - lies to protect the dangerous and gulity while they endanger and murder the innocent.

Alleged leaker Mohamed Elibiary the only DHS adviser given access to sensitive law enforcement database

In “Alleged DHS leaker Elibiary the only adviser given access to sensitive law enforcement database” at PJ Media, November 3 (thanks to T.T.), Patrick Poole shows that the story that he broke recently and that I discussed here is even worse than was originally known. In yet another stunning example of government capitulation to Islamic supremacism, Mohamed Elibiary, who is alleged to have leaked sensitive intel documents to Leftist media, was the only DHS adviser who had access to those documents:

There’s yet another update to my exclusive PJM report last week that Department of Homeland Security Advisory Council member Mohamed Elibiary allegedly leaked sensitive law enforcement documents prepared by the Texas Department of Public Safety obtained thru the Homeland Security State and Local Intelligence Community of Interest (HS SLIC) to a left-leaning media outlet claiming that the reports represented a pattern of “Islamophobia” to attack TX Governor and presidential candidate Rick Perry. According to my source at the publication, they declined to run the story that Elibiary pitched because they didn’t believe that the TX DPS reports were “Islamophobic”. The source also said that reports were marked “For Official Use Only” (FOUO).

In that same story, I received confirmation from TX DPS Director Steve McCraw, who confirmed that Elibiary had obtained TX DPS materials from the HS SLIC, saying:

We know that he has accessed DPS documents and downloaded them.

http://www.jihadwatch.org/2011/11/alleged-leaker-mohamed-elibiary-the-only-dhs-adviser-given-access-to-sensitive-law-enforcement-datab.html

Now comes an even more disturbing revelation from inside DHS that Mohamed Elibiary is the only member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council – one out of 26 members – who has been given access to the HS SLIC database.

while Janet Napolitano continues to stonewall questions about how, when, and why Elibiary was given access to this (including questions posed by my colleague Erick Stakelbeck of CBN News), I can report exclusively here that the organization that Elibiary founded and has operated and headed since 2002, the Plano, Texas-based Freedom and Justice Foundation, had its 501(c)3 tax-exempt status revoked by the IRS in May 2010 for failing to file the required annual IRS Form 990s.

According to the Texas IRS revocations posted on the IRS website, the Freedom and Justice Foundation had its tax-exempt status revoked on May 15, 2010. But even after that date, Elibiary’s organization continued to solicit tax-exempt donations on its website.

AdvertisementFrom a September 9, 2010, internet archive of the Freedom and Justice Foundation’s website we see that nearly four months after the IRS revocation, Elibiary had PayPal links for three separate projects under the Texas Islamic Council as part of a state-wide two-year effort to raise $250,000: a Muslim scholarship fund, media campaigns, and interfaith community relations. The Texas Islamic Council operates as a DBA of the Freedom and Justice Foundation. At the bottom of the page is a separate button with the words: “Support Our work via a tax-deductible donation!” Each of those four PayPal links is still active and workable.

How did Elibiary obtain and keep a security clearance when he refused for nearly a decade to reveal his organization’s sources of income to the federal government? This is especially problematic considering he needed that clearance for his work with the FBI, the National Counterterrorism Center, and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

Homeland Security’s Muslim Advisor Mohamed Elibiary Spoke at Conference Honoring Ayatollah Khomeini....When Mohamed Elibiary was appointed earlier this year to the Department of Homeland Security’s newly-formed Countering Violent Extremism Working Group, it was done quietly and without fanfare. It’s hard to believe that this silence was accidental, considering Elibiary’s appearance at a conference honoring Ayatollah Khomeini, his attacks on prosecution of terrorist fundraisers, his active promotion of jihadist ideology godfather Sayyid Qutb, and the threat he made against a Dallas Morning News journalist who repeatedly exposed his extremist views.

But none of that has stopped Mohamed Elibiary from promoting himself as a “de-radicalization” expert courted not only by Janet Napolitano and the Department of Homeland Security, but testifying before Congress earlier this year, giving briefings to the Congressional Research Service, and being hailed by the establishment media.

Perhaps the hardest thing for Elibiary to explain away is his sharing the podium with a rabid anti-American and anti-Jewish speaker who has publicly pledged his loyalty to the Iranian regime, but he has offered several fantastic explanations for appearing at the December 2004 conference honoring the life and works of the “Great Islamic Visionary” Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.

The Dallas Morning News condemned the meeting and its high-profile speakers as a “disgrace,” Elibiary defended his appearance by claiming that he never knew the conference was to honor Khomeini and that he endorsed the conference out of “Muslim unity” and his hopes to present a “moderating counterpoint” – one that apparently was never offered.

When the local CBS affiliate reported that keynote speaker and outspoken Khomeini enthusiast Mohammad Al-Asi had delivered an anti-American, anti-Jewish harangue during the conference, and a 10-year old boy had opened the conference praising Khomeini for reviving “pure Islamic thinking” and calling President Bush “the greatest enemy of the Muslim Ummah”, Elibiary conveniently claimed that he didn’t hear those comments since he had arrived after the boy spoke and before Al-Asi’s speech. He has elaborated on those excuses for speaking at the event on his own website.

More recently, Elibiary has publicly attacked the prosecution the Holy Land Foundation executives who were convicted of raising millions in support of Hamas, and a landmark Supreme Court decision earlier this year that backed federal laws prohibiting material support for terrorism.

When Elibiary testified before Congress earlier this year, his status as a “de-radicalization expert” was challenged by the Investigative Project on Terrorism, who noted his running online feud with Dallas Morning News editorial page editor Rod Dreher over Elibiary’s defense of the godfather of jihadist ideology, Sayyid Qutb. The 9/11 Commission observed that Qutb was instrumental in developing the ideological foundations of Al-Qaeda’s terrorist worldview that justified the 9/11 attacks and inspired Osama bin Laden.

Watching Janet Napolitano squirm and stutter as she struggled with her lies during this direct question and answer session made my skin crawl...and when it became obvious to everyone in the room she was lying, she played the race card (unsuccessfully I might add).

The clip ought to be picked up and televised by every conservative talk show for at least a solid week!

Congressman Gohmert did his job, and did it well!
