What you have posted there is just the donations by the coporation itself. Each of the franchises are obligated to donate as well. Our CFA gives to church events, but also donates quite a lot to local schools, the food prepared on Saturday and not sold by the end of the night is donated (cold items). They routinely give away small baskets with cows and free sandwich coupons as raffle or door prizes.

It is really good. Better chicken than other fast-food places.

You got that right! My only problem is I invariably get a craving for their chicken on Sundays!

But I certainly respect their right to be closed, and think it's a great thing! They could clean up with people like me! But it's more important to them to allow their employees to spend some time off (even if they're not observant) with their families.

I also read that the majority of their managerial and corporate employees have worked their way up from "the bottom." And that they have a very real scholarship program for their employees.

You wanna know the funny part?

Chick Fil A is ALWAYS full to capacity right here in the middle of fag-friendly Hollywood, CA 4 blocks away from me. Either the libs do not know about this or they don’t care but I wished I invested in that location close to me.

Among professional athletes, Boston is considered the most racist city. And Boston violently opposed racial integration of schools.

I love it more than McDonalds.

I believe that I read here recently (and I didn't know this) that McDonalds CEO is a big time liberal. So of course, I'll never be in another McDonalds. Same with Progessive Ins. whose CEO is a big time liberal. And then we have J C Penny with that pervert lesbian Ellen DeGeneres in their ads now. I'll not be in that store again. But then again, the list goes on and on -where I've discontinued doing my shopping.

Last time I went to CFA, I specified lettuce and tomato only and that is how my sandwich was prepared. I don't like McDonalds and others who insist on slathering gobs of mayo or so-called special sauce all over my sandwich.

Unlike Mickey Ds and other fast food joints, the CFA people are very customer-oriented. I've never been greeted with anything less than a smile and an eagerness to please. At McDs, the employees are too busy talking among themselves to offer more than the standard, “ya want fries with that?” Half the time they don't pay attention to what you've ordered and thus, get it wrong. And on more than one occasion, I've had some surly employee practically throw my food at me.

Oh, and God help you if you're disabled. I walk with a cane and CFA employees offer to help me carry my food to the table. At McDs, they insist on giving me a tray which I can't carry with one hand free. I usually have to tell them I want a bag instead of a tray. At CFA, I don't have to ask. The employers go out of their way to he helpful.

No, Boston isn’t America. It’s a little “North Korea.”
