As NewsBusters previously reported, ABC's Brian Ross, during a Good Morning America segment with co-host George Stephanopoulos, wrongly accused a Tea Party member of being Friday's Aurora, Colorado, mass murderer.
Later that day, conservative talk radio host Mark Levin said, "If ABC News corporate had an ounce of integrity it would fire both of them right now" (video follows courtesy Right Scoop with transcript and commentary):

MARK LEVIN: Most of us when something as tragic as what happened in Aurora this morning takes place, our hearts go out to the dead, to the families, to those who are injured. We want to know who they are, we want to know who did this, we want to know why it was done and so forth. Some of us say a prayer.What most of us don’t do is search for political scapegoats. And the scapegoat seems to always be the same – us.
Somehow those of us who are law-abiding, who preach the value of the individual, who oppose things like abortion and defend the greatest healthcare system in the world because we embrace a culture of life, somehow we’re to blame. It doesn’t matter if the murderer is mentally ill as in the Tucson case, if he’s disgruntled about something including himself or whatever. They look for reasons to find out if he has any connections to us.
So the media go hunting for reasons to make disgusting allegations. It’s cold-blooded, there’s no compassion, they’re looking to make news, they’re looking to drive ratings. This is just bizarre, and it’s time to call them out on it.

If ABC News had an ounce of integrity, Stephanopoulos, the former Bill Clinton White House adviser, would never have been hired.

In the 1960s I wrote a letter or two to the TV network news.. all that happen was a letter back saying "we are the professionals and you're not."
Let the maligned parties sue the hell out of ABC and the several ABC employees, however.
John Boehner and many of his ilk in Congress share your opinion. That's why they sit on their thumbs. They'll probably continue to sit on their thumbs after Obama signs an EO to ban all guns. Fortunately we can weed them out of Congress and you have a righr to be wrong. Dan Rather proved that.

They need to shut down their entire propaganda organization and stick to doing what they know best, and that’s letting J-Ho put lesbo shows on ABC family, which should be called ABC Family Poison, but as we all know, ABC is utterly dishonest and unethical.

In this case a private citizen is being threatened due to the false reporting of ABC News.
The Fall of Dan Rather proves you are wrong that "it cannot be done". That's why I said Dan Rather proved you wrong but being wrong is your right.
We elected republicans to take control of the House. Many many actions of this pResident have been passively allowed to go on without any action from the House. They sit on their thumbs and allow this pResident to trample all over the Constitution because they feel there's no sense doing anything - nothing will change anyways.
It's time to work together and move ahead. The law and God is on our side. Let's dump the negativity. Negativity gets us nowhere.
Chances are slim they will fire those two over the phony report.
