Kermit and Miss Piggy won't be chomping down on Chick-fil-A chicken sandwiches any longer.

The Jim Henson Company will stop providing toys for the fast food chains kids meals because of Chick-fil-A's anti-gay marriage stance.

Bing: 'Office' star speaks out against Chick-fil-A

On Facebook, the company said that CEO Lisa Henson is a strong supporter of marriage equality and decided to end the relationship with the food-maker. The company behind the Muppets will donate the money it received from Chick-fil-A to the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD).

"The Jim Henson Company has celebrated and embraced diversity and inclusiveness for over fifty years and we have notified Chick-fil-A that we do not wish to partner with them on any future endeavors," the statement reads.

The controversy over Chick-fil-A's views on gay rights came to a head after the the company's president Dan Cathy told the Baptist Press that he was "guilty as charged" when it came to his support for the Biblical definition of marriage as being between a man and a woman.

"We are very much supportive of the family -- the Biblical definition of the family unit," Cathy said. "We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that."

The company has also reportedly donated millions of dollars to anti-gay Christian groups. With over $4 billion in revenue, Chick-fil-A has continued to stress its religious values by refusing, for instance, to open on Sundays.

Chick-fil-A has every right to feel the way they do and I applaud them for standing by their values. I also respect that they are NOT open on Sundays and that they have never "bowed" to pressure to be open 7-days a week---love that they believe that day is for families--wish more businesses were like that--when I was a kid, none of the stores were open on Sundays--that was a day for church and family, not shopping.. now, it's greed that keeps businesses open! kudo's to Chick-fil-A for sticking to their principles and to hell with Henson and their homosexual muppets!

Guess I won’t be buying Muppet-brand toys, books, or videos for my granddaughter any more.

I will buy nothing that the Henson company produces and encourage everyone to stop going to “Sesame Place” in Bucks County, Pa.

Chick-Fil-A can find better toys from a better company - good riddance to the muppets.

I wish there was a Chick-Fil-A closer to my home than Fairfield (I live in San Jose). Then again I’ll be passing through Fairfield on my way north this weekend, so maybe I’ll give them my business this Friday.

And yet, he wouldn’t allow Bert and Ernie to be considered homosexual “partners” as the clamoring homo-Nazis demanded. Did he change his mind?

For them to bow to 1-1/2% contingent of sodomites is pathetic. That leaves 98-1/2% of us to continue to give support to this fine business.

May they go the same way that J.C. Penney is going.

I applaud Chc-Fil-A. When is enough going to be enough?

If we who are true Conservative Christians don't stand up and confront the rotting from with in this country is experiencing, who will.

I plan to pass by companies that bow to the new world order and give more business to places like Chic-Fil-A

Sesame Street always had liberal undertones throughout.

It’s gotten much worse naturally, along with that abomination Disney Channel.

The Jim Henson Company ended it’s business relationship with Jim Henson in 1990.

Anytime there's a Chick-fil-A nearby and it's time to eat, that's where I go.

Yes, I hope Jim Henson company pays for this down the line. They should have been supportive of Chick-Fil-A, instead they snatch the donated toys away from the kids’ happy meals. They obviously care more for gays and lesbians than they do for children.

(AP) Depressed over Chick-fil-A's position, rumors of Ernie's dalliances with Elmo and other personal issues, Bert hanged himself today.
