Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio, a rising star in the party and a potential vice-presidential pick for Mitt Romney, said this morning that he disagreed with Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann’s baseless call to investigate Muslim Brotherhood infiltration in the U.S. government.

“Gomert and Bachmann were both signed on to a PRIVATE letter asking simply how she got a security clearance considering her family’s background (as would happen for any ordinary citizrn trying to get a clearance). “
_______

A leak to be investigated.......

"You would think the presumptive nominee would show some leadership and pick a side."

:::cough:::

Wait till he figures out which way the wind is blowing, who stands where on the issue, and how he can benefit. Then he'll speak out.

I think it was Frank Gaffney who said the GOP is just as deeply in the pockets of the muslim brotherhood as the democrats. The current GOP behavior isn’t encouraging.

I think Oliver North had it when he said something about Osama being terrifying.

The GOP behavior isn't any different from the Dem behavior.

Bachmann is in a tough race this fall. She has to defeat BOTH parties.

The GOP HATES Conservatives, it’s time to leave.

Rubio has been nothing to me for some time. His immigration stance, now this, is more oriented toward outsiders than Americans. He’s toast to me.

Makes you wonder what the real agenda is in DC.

The agenda is...Dictatorial Power. It looks more and more like CW2 is going to be necessary.

There’s a very good reason why the Founders put the Natural Born Citizen requirement in the Constitution.

Rubio is exhibit A.

No wait, Obama is exhibit A. Rubio is exhibit B.

And he’s as constitutionally prohibited from the office as is the present Interloper-in-chief!
If Romney doesn’t choose a true conservative this election may be a lot closer than it needs to be as many frustrated true Conservatives will be less than enthused about voting for a team of a lib and a half!

Romney quiet on brohood for obvious reason.

The issue is jobs, taxes, jobs, spending, jobs, borrowing, jobs, regulation. On that the GOP wins.

Appearing meanspirited by running against people rather than for ideas is the way to lose.

A leak to be investigated

If Michele Bachmann sent the letter in her capacity as a member of the house intelligence committee, you're damn straight its a security issue.

Now that Rubio has more fully outed himself, it's helpful to learn from the Rubio example and remember how easily so many will lock on to whomever says the right words and appropriately conservative sayings and grant them full trust and access.

This reeks of desperation. Better way: Trust, if you must, but verify! Always verify!

Sooner or later, you'll know who/what you're dealing with. Until then, follow the Constitution and the Founders' intent.

Bachmann makes the men around her look like pantywaists (save Colonel West and, hopefully, at least a few others...).

Rubio ORIGINALLY was a Conservative, but has been bought and paid for by the Establishment Elite, if he is intending to move on up the "ladder".

So many Conservatives turn to the Dark Side, when the benefits are too great for THEM to resist....no Principles stand in the way of their power and ambition, which overtakes them.

We have only ourselves to blame in this, as the big-dollar media onslaught DESTROYS every Challenger (think Palin, Bachman, Cain, etc.)

Since when is Rubio endorsed by the Tea Party? There is no “Tea Party”, no one tells us what to think or who to vote for. The values that unit the very loosely connected people in various Tea Party groups are strict constructionist adherence to the Constitution, smaller, weaker government, promote business friendly economic climate, protect capitalism. I'm a Tea Party group co-founder, and I certainly do not endorse Rubio, because, patriotic as he sounded, he is NOT a NBC, his parents were Cubans at the time he was born.

This is only another nail in his “I’m-a-true-Conservative” coffin. For months now, Rubio has been echoing the clueless McCain on his erroneous, Hillary-supporting foreign-policy statements with regard to Libya and now Syria.

McCain went after Bachmann, so “me-too” Rubio apparently felt inclined to distance himself from her on the Huma Abeid issue, as well — though, fortgunately, not in as an egregious manner of the odious McCain.

Lessee. St. Sarah endorsed Jerk Hatch. RINO
Rubio kicked Michele when she’s down. RINO
John Roberts was too clever by half. RINO
Newt Gingrich played pattycake with Mittens RINO
Bobby Jindal’s not a NB Citizen and he’s a RINO to boot.

And then, horror of horrors,
God still hasn’t vaporized all these RINOs
So God’s a RINO too.

But FR has not sold its soul. FR harbors the only non-RINOs left on the face of the earth. We’ve vaporized every Conservative public figure on Earth and would have vaporized God if we thought we could get away with it.

So I guess FR needs to run for presydent.
