When he first decided he wanted to run for mayor the Democrat primary was too crowded - so he switched his registration to R and basically bought the office. He was literally a RINO - he’s always been a democrat and even now that he is claiming to be an Independent - he is still a democrat!
Yes, it is a good one. I’ve thought about making a change from time to time but nothing else seems to describe so much, with so few words.
