I saw that analysis on Glenn Beck’s show, the reason why organizations he helps fund were stalling the pipeline.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burlington_Northern_Railroad

Burlington Northern merged with the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway at the end of 1996 to form the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway[1][2] (later renamed BNSF Railway), which was owned by the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corporation. That corporation was purchased by Berkshire Hathaway in 2009[3] which is controlled by investor Warren Buffett.

Sorry, not enough coffee yet this morning I guess.

These wouldn’t happen to be part of Warren Buffet’s Rail system, would it?

At least one of the railroads; Warren Buffett’s Burlington Northern Santa Fe benefit from the Obama administration’s decision to reject TransCanada’s Keystone XL oil pipeline permit.

Another development is the scarcity of tank cars.
Cars once dedicated to heavy oil or asphalt are being cleaned up and converted to crude oil service.
