Yep, even liberals know NBC News is no longer reliable when the truth is suddenly more important than The Narrative:
The latest sign of trouble for NBC's news division comes from MSNBC, which saw a ratings decline compared to previous weeks as news of the shootings in Colorado was unfolding last Friday.
Not only did MSNBC's ratings significantly trail cable news competitors CNN and Fox News in the prime time period after the shooting, but they were also below the number of viewers the network got on recent Friday nights.
Nielsen ratings data for July 20--the day James Holmes went on a shooting rampage at a Colorado movie theater that killed 12 and injured 58 people--shows that MSNBC's audience during the key prime time hours were below its own average for the previous four Fridays. ...

I wonder what FOX’s ratings did.
I’m withholding my opinion until I know to where the viewers went. If they went to CNN, then they haven’t learned a thing.
Maybe they went to see the new Batman movie.
When something major happens in the news I turn OFF the TV and turn on FR.
For some reason MSNBC goes to prison reality shows on Friday after 10:00 pm. So there probably was no coverage. Now if they can get this guy, live behind bars with his sweet orange hair and weak 24 year old PhD physique in general population....there ratings will be over the top. X-rated, but over the top.
I lost count on how many stories I first learned about via FR.
Every celebrity death I hear from FR.

Even talk radio I stopped listening to live. I listen to podcasts. So any news is old.
FR seemed to be loaded with misinformation on Day 1.

At some point people need to learn that some blogs will post anything to get blog hits.
This is surprising. Considering MSNBC is a network that supports and enables left wing domestic terrorism I thought for sure the gas bags that watch this joke of a network would stay tuned in. Maybe that Maddow guy got kicked in his nuts and couldn’t go on the air?
I hope that network crashes and burns.... HARD
