Judge: Fort Hood Suspect Could Be Forcibly Shaved

An Army psychiatrist charged with killing 13 people in a shooting rampage at Fort Hood will be forcibly shaved if he doesn't remove his beard himself, a judge said Wednesday.

Maj. Nidal Hasan appeared in court Wednesday sporting a beard as he did during a court appearance last month. The beard violates Army regulations, but Hasan said it is an expression of his Muslim faith.

The judge, Col. Gregory Gross, held Hasan in contempt of court for keeping the beard and fined him $1,000. Fort Hood spokesman Chris Haug said Gross gave Hasan the choice to shave on his own or be forcibly shaved sometime before his court-martial begins Aug. 20.

Hasan, 41, is charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder in the November 2009 shootings. He faces the death penalty if convicted.

should be summarily shot, not allowed to futz around in courts for the next few years

Shooting to death is what you may want to do as a "courtesy" for other honorable combatants and even dogs....
Criminals and wild animals you HANG.
He is no where near deserving of bring shot.

Have him walk through pig grease that is just warm enough to stay liquid and then hung OVER a pit of dead pigs. Badly tied knot that does not kill him instantly and he strangles slowly over the pit of dead swine.

So just how do you see that he deserves the "honor" of being shot?

In my day, he would have never grown the beard in the first place. He would have been forcibly shaved and placed on bread and water until he complied with discipline.

If the Army won't do it, I suggest we call in the US Marines and let THEM remove his murderous scum-sucking beard with the most efficient tools at their disposal.
