Jerry Sandusky case: Lawyers say they've found Victim 2, the boy Mike McQueary saw being molested

Victim 2, the boy who was, until now, known to exist only because Mike McQueary saw him being molested by Jerry Sandusky in a Penn State shower in 2001, has come forward to two State College lawyers.

Andrew Shubin and Justine Andronici, two lawyers who launched their own investigation into Sandusky's activities over the last four decades -- and the reactions of people around him -- say that Victim 2 has identified himself to them.

As part of the investigation, they acquired voicemails from Sandusky to the man, and released those on www. rossfellercasey.com, the website of the Philadelphia law firm they are working with.

In both, Sandusky ends the message with "love you."

They released a statement that reads, in part:

"Our client suffered extensive sexual abuse over many years both before and after the 2001 incident Michael McQueary witnessed in the Penn State Lasch building shower.

"Penn State has now admitted and there is no longer any question that its top officials could have and should have prevented these acts.

"Jerry Sandusky's abuse of Victim 2 and other children is a direct result of a conspiracy to conceal Sandusky's conduct and the decisions by top Penn State officials that facilitated and enabled his access to victims.

None of the victims have made this accusation. Why not, if it is true?

I posit this question . If a coach condones credit card fraud by another coach— ok, he is aware the other retired coach murdered his wife, would this justify the sanctions agreed to by Ped State? Why is is relevant to football? Why has the school football program been destroyed? Who were idiots representing Penn State? Sanctions have in the past related to a violation of NCAA rules. Do we now have a rule that if we know of a crime committed by anyone in the program— we banish football. We punished 87 innocent football players for the acts of two retired employees? This was a horribly stupid act by Ped State and the NCAA and totally misplaces the blame. I can understand get Pedterno’s name off campus but DESTROY FOOTBALL? unbelievable.

The school was aware of serious felonies committed by their top assistant coach. Failing to report those crimes allowed them to keep him around, allowed them to keep him as part of the football program, and allowed them to keep the Penn State name looking clean. All of these things caused them to gain competitive advantage vs. if they had reported Sandusky's crimes.

In order to gain this competitive advantage, the school took actions that allowed Sandusky to continue raping children.

The NCAA went far too easy on Penn State. If anything the entire school should be burned to the ground.

Damned is correct.

I imagine the boy thought - when McQueary saw him and he saw McQueary - that the abuse might FINALLY be over.

But McQueary left him to his fate and nothing was done for the next DECADE.

Paterno let Sandusky know he was seen soon after so no doubt there was an extra dose of ‘if you tell nobody will believe you’ applied to the victim.

McQueary got a job out of the deal - to buy his silence apparently.

Sick. Damned. Damn sick.

I’m glad you posted this the second time. People need to read it. It means that on the Penn State campus there was more than just one Sandusky.

Sandusky was a Head Coach candidate for both Temple and Maryland. Both schools were interested in the D-Coordinator at Linebacker U, and both suddenly dropped their interest in Sandusky. I wonder why? Word get out about what he liked to do in his spare time?

“He vowed to make PSU the most “gay-friendly” campus in the country.”

Not that it would have anything to do with Sandusky. Cause we all know that queers and pedophiles have nothing in common.

Other than, well, that. And this. And the other thing.

This is fairly typical in cases like these....

This is not a typical case.

Yea. That’s what I was talking about earlier. Doesn’t sound like “rumors”. Looks like a first hand account to me.

I hope the records are still there — wherever there is now.

Not a chance. The records for the period involving the 2001 shower incident and surrounding years went 'missing' from offsite storage. Here's the Free Republic link to the story.

But you know, Georgia fans are very bit as football crazed as PSU, but we've never had the weird kind of personality cult they have at PSU.

No. Then again, you don't have a statue of your living, current coach (as a certain other SEC school does).

Thank god for underachievement!

Why am I not surprised?? That speaks volumes.

I'll bet Jack Raykovitz, the longtime president and CEO of The Second Mile knows where they went.

How horrifying. Feminists would have infiltrated this ring if they had been raping girls. On second thought, maybe not if the pedos were democraps.

At work, if guy who runs the operation as owner or CEO knows someone is committing crimes on the business’ property, he can not legally permit that to happen or he is abetting the crime by lending his property to be used in a criminal operation.

The Penn State pervs permitted Sandusky to continue to bring boys onto University property after finding out he raped a boy in the shower.

Now from a moral point of view. If you know a pedophile ring is operating in your local school or boys club, would you not feel obligated to report it to the police and let parents know so that you could protect the boys from futher harm? It would be immoral, low down stinking, for any adult to close their eyes to child sex abuse. It is a horrendous crime. Triple that harm for homosexuals twisting the sexuality of boys or girls for self gratification. This is the way homo reproduce- child abuse.

The NCAA is a joke. Cam Newton?? Reggie Bush? 81 violations at Miami, 8 blatant violations at Ohio State. Give me a break!!This Penn State ( I went to TEXAS) sanction is the dumbest, most misplaced thing I have ever seen. What a knee slapping joke. I hate Penn State but this was unfair to a factor of 100!!

Remove all vestige of Pedternose name from the campus. Remove him for recognition as “winningest” coach as unsuited. Hang Sandusky Live on TV and PLAY ON!!! Why do we punish the innocent?? Every one I talked to today was rethinking the insanity of this!! What if a coach murders his wife?? What is your solution to that?? Huhhhhh?

Your hysteria over this is unseemly.

Penn State has been punished very severely, Their winning record from 1998 forward has been erased (wrongly in my view).

What do you want to do. Salt the earth at Happy Valley? (and i am no PS fan)

Talk about “over kill” What does Penn State have to do with this? Are we going to impute the crimes of a professor to the engineering department and stop students from graduating? Are we going to punish 93 young football players for the criminal acts of a retired pedophile and an old coach with Alzheimer? Why? Somebody give me an AMEN!! This is madness.
