I do not think he will have to arm twist.

If he loses he will sign the treaty and then Dingy Harry will call a session late at night and get just enough Dems to have a quorum. They will then get the needed votes to implement the treaty.

If he wins he will still sign the treaty and the Senate will still do the same as above.

Either way we may be screwed.

Another farce sponsored by European leftists and their fascist allies in Russia and China to be used to harass the United States-- you can bet that whatever illegal leakage of civilian arms outside the US exists will be subject to endless UN complaining and lawsuits by the enemies within (like the scum 'defending' the terrorists in Guantanamo by releasing the identities of their interrogators).

It will of course do nothing to penalize the worst supporters of murderous regimes and violators of UN arms sanctions-- Russia and China.
