Next we will be told that being heterosexual is a hate crime.

Only if you actually have children, and are not an illegal immigrant, or Muslim, legal or not.

I have never eaten at a Chick-fil-A, but at the first opportunity I will. When traveling I will look for their restaurants. I hope they have the best profit year in their history.

Not with the new Archbishop who headed the “Marriage and Family Life” Committee moving in as the new Archbishop of San Francisco.

It will take a while, but things will slowly start to change.

God bless Archbishop Crodilieone on his new assignment — hey Nancy Pelosi, are you wondering about an excommunication yet? It will come, I’m sure.

Good point about the iced tea — it’s always good at CFA. Iced tea is a prime indicator of a restaurant’s quality. I used to wait tables and know what a pain it is to keep the tea urns propertly cleaned. It has to be done often and it has to be done right. Otherwise the tea will have an off wang to it. It’s one of those things that management has to stay on top of. So if the iced tea tastes good, it means it’s probably a well managed establishment, and most likely lots of other little details in the preparation of your food — things that you’re not aware of that have to do with cleanliness and quality — are being attended to.

In every state where gay marriage has been put on the ballot, it is always defeated by 2-to-1. This is, indeed, a fight they can't win, because they are outnumbered and consumers want their "chicken sandwich - hold the hissy fit."

I'd agree with you...except that it's entirely possible that Washington state's gonna be the first to pass same-sex marriage.

Jeff Bezos (founder of Amazon.com) and his wife (yes...a woman) just gave $2.5 million dollars to the 'Yes" on Referendum 74 campaign. Steve Ballmer and Bill Gates gave $100,000 each. The pro-marriage forces are woefully behind in fundraising.

Not only that, but the voters in just 7 of the most populous counties in Washngton pretty much control the state. Everyone to the east of the Cascades and south of the state capitol in Olympia votes conservative, pretty much everyone around Puget Sound does not. That's where the population is, and they vote liberal.

I'm not trying to sound like a defeatist, but barring a miracle of Almighty God, that referendum will pass.

Today will be my first time eating at Chick-Fil-A. Gonna make the 75 mile round trip to the nearest one and give them my support.

“You are a Great American! Please submit a full report.”

I just had my first Chick-Fil-A meal ever! It was so satisfying to get a good meal at a great family oriented place.

I had the spicy chicken sandwich with those strange looking waffle fries and a sweet tea. Very good!

The staff were all very friendly and the place was packed.

I will be making the trip again on Wednesday after work.

Excellent analysis and critique. I do hope the field indeed gets tilted the other way, and the sooner the better.

Thank you. In one way or another, it's definitely coming. Because I'm Canadian, I'll have to content myself with watching from the sidelines :)

Indeed, they won’t win especially if people from FR and other civilized sites, post their comments where the homos roam and post them frequently. We can’t let the white trash homos win this battle to promote their deviance.

the far left lunatics always over play their agenda and get so emotional that they just lose it and the moderates, the normal folks who don’t follow their far left politics or even follow politics just look at the left as nut jobs, occupy was a pefect example of this.

one of the best points I’ve read about them.

The far left never uses any logic or facts, what they do is let their emotions take over, they then over play their hand, they then just lose it and throw hissy baby tantrums as they are doing now.

It’s hard to get a far left person to sit down and have a rational debate as they just end up with name calling and shouting, they just cannot see any point tdue to their emotions

just watched that videoa nd I’m disgusted how the cop wore one of those badges and then said he is preaching hatred.

I hope so much that the cop was reported and dealt with because he;s supposed to be on duty to protect all peoples rights now take a side on his patrol .

This is why homosexuals should not serve nor even be a cop, they demonstrate all the time that their minds are not right there, that their sexual activity trumps all and gets in the way of their job.

Turn on any news channel and it’s always the liberal screaming.

Like you said, they’re basically just overgrown toddlers. Their whole world centers on themselves (that’s why they only tell OTHER people what THEY should be doing), they’re incapable of anything but “surface” thinking, they’re incapable of recognizing consequences (especially unintended consequences), and are masters of the temper tantrum.

I can only assume they are the adult outcome of the screaming kid in the shopping cart whose parent keeps threatening to discipline them but ends up giving in and throwing the toy in the cart.

It would be comical if it wasn’t so dang sad.

got that right.

They wind each other up and get all emotional, they tell each other how smart they are and how great they are and then come into the real world thinkng that their view is the only view. Once they hear another view point they go into full baby mode, throw tantrums , name call but never can they use facts or think for themselves but instead just use talking points and bumper sticker slogans.

Perfect example.
Here in FL we had the marriage question and I had a sticker saying marriage , man woman etc.
A car comes next to me and a woman was shouting her mouth off at me.
. I roll down the window and asked “what did you say”
She said your sticker is hateful bigoted etc.

Well I’m not one to back off so I followed her to the next light and it was red.
I said why is it hateful, why are you calling me names etc and she heard my accent and shouted back”go back to the country you come from , we don;t want you here’

I have a strong nothern English accent.
I then turned the tables on her and shouted who is the bigot, racist etc and she drove off at nearly a hundred .

The left cannot handle anyone who questions their view and when you do question them they show their true hating, bigoted ways and views with baby tantrums.

Good for you! If you listen closely, you can actually hear a whooshing sound as rational thought flies right over their heads.

We’ve long since passed the point where it needs thrown back in their faces. We’ve allowed them to be the most vocal for far too long.

Seeing and acknowledging their own hypocrisy would require introspection. That might lead to the conclusion that they aren’t SUPERIOR BEINGS as they’ve probably been told their entire lives. That’s why their focus is always on everyone else’s actions. (This is also why they never have a sense of humor. They lack the ability to make fun of themselves.)

A conservative validates their life on what they think of themselves, their conscience or moral code, if you will. A liberal only validates their life based in what OTHERS think of them. That’s why they’re in lock-step on every issue. What would OTHERS think if you disagreed or stepped out of line?!?!?! *gasp* Hence, the talking points and bumper sticker retorts.
