One reason why the press is all over this is that Romney basically called Brian Williams a boring white guy.

That stung Williams, NBC, and the entire MSM news bureaus.

Their playing up this supposed Romney gaffe is their method of retaliation.

Bottom line.

Problem for the DBM is that when Romney becomes potus they are in jeopardy of not getting access. Kill their access and they will have to make stuff up even more than they already do. Never as good as the real truth.

I agree with you but the impression may arise that Romney “called” Williams a “boring white guy”.

This was again Romney answering a QUESTION put very condescendingly and snarkily and sneeringly from Williams that some souce close to you has said that you will name a boring white guy to be VP.

It was a hateful, arrogant question. And Mitt turned it around on Williams with a smile, “But you told me you weren’t available.” LOL

That was another 'unscripted' response by Romney, a fabulous retort, and a clue that the so-called cardboard businessman is a living breathing human with a quick sense of humor.
