CNN) – President Barack Obama made a $5,000 donation to his campaign Monday night, the first contribution the president has made to his re-election effort.
In an email to supporters, Obama wrote that his donation "won't be enough to surmount the unprecedented fundraising we've seen on the other side, both from our opponent's campaign and from the outside groups and special interests supporting him."
An Obama campaign aide said the donation was made online in New York City, where Obama attended a fund-raiser Monday.

I clicked on this expecting to find that he made a $3 donation to himself.

This ahole thinks that phrase lends import to everything he says and since everything he says he thinks is important, he begins everything with it. I think it is an unprecedented excess use of the phrase by a POtuS.

Since Obama's so greedy, yet encourages others to donate their wedding and birthday gifts to his campaign, this $5,000 donation of his must be an advance birthday gift to himself.

Not very- He simply demanded the $5000 be returned to him after it was recorded and everyoen saw what a ‘generous donator’ he is
