The President of the Coalition of African-American Pastors says supporters of traditional marriage are facing the same discrimination that blacks faced during the civil rights movement.

“Some people are saying because of the position that Chick-fil-A has taken - they don’t want them in their cities,” Rev. William Owens said at the National Press Club on Tuesday... (Video At Link)

I’m always hopeful when at least a few Blacks start figuring out their mistake of getting in bed with Liberals.

Having read the article, I am encouraged by the strong stance.

I think this is very good news.

The logical conclusion of this discrimination should it be extended thru-out the civil society is civil war; I cannot fathom another endpoint. There would be those for tyranny versus those for liberty.

But they’ll get zip, zero, nada coverage in the MSM, unlike race baiters Al and Jesse.

Bravo to him for his strong stance, and for seeing through liberal contrivances.

True enough.

But, pastors preach to their flock.

These spirtual leaders can make a difference at the grass roots.

It would be nice if the media gave them the kind of coverage that they afford the race baiters. But, I'm not sure how many minds can be changed by Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson rushing to get in front of a camera - probably preaching to the choir.

These pastors speaking the truth within there own communities - that can only be good.

Any media coverage is gravy.

Martin Luther King - Judge by the content of their character, not the color of their skin

Liberal's Affirmative Action - Judge by the color of their skin, not the content of their character

The democRat policies are racist and enslave minorities to government dependence.

It’s OK to marry the opposite sex, and it’s OK to have children with your opposite sex spouse. Just don’t SAY you support ‘traditional marriage’, publicly.

Just...wow.

How long will it be before it’s illegal to have a spouse of the opposite sex?

Wait a sec...I thought separating people into groups based on race (and a hyphenated race at that!) was a no-no for Conservatives. Why is it ok for this group of pastors? Because we agree with them on this issue?

And why are we supporting the hyphenated “Chick-fil-A”?

Why not Chick-fil-B, or Chick-fil-C?

Laws protecting a right to homosexual or other immoral sexual behaviors logically invariably contradict the free exercise of religion.

It’s not just a homosexual issue, either, as if I as a businessman—do not want to be represented by a sexual lecher... “sexual rights” say that I cannot discriminate against him. If I have an employee who moonlights as a prostitute—”sexual rights” say I cannot fire her for that...

As with any behaviorally-based “rights”: America will either have the free exercise of religion, or “homosexual rights,” as it cannot have both.
