House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Cali.) says President Obama has enacted many "expansions of freedom."

Why, yes, of course, in typical Democrat Orwellian bizarro-speak, where 'freedom' means slavery, 'justice' means injustice, 'life' means death, 'investment' means theft, 'voluntary' means coerced, and 'fairness' means unfairness, Obama has truly enacted many "expansions of freedom".

This is why a person’s worldview (ie their foundational beliefs) matters so much.

They use the same terms as we do, but their definitions are completely different.

Crazy Nancy means freedom to quit your job at Starbucks and lay around smoking dope while you daydream about a career as a feng shui consultant.

Doesn’t life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness come as an endowment from our Creator and not from some government act (see Declaration of Independence)? The government is a creation of “we the people” so how can it endow anything to it’s creator? The California rep needs to get some education.

Pelosi said the Affordable Care Act is "about life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." "Central to all is the Affordable Care Act, which we think is about life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness," Pelosi said.

No, you moron, it's not.

You think wrong. How the hell do you keep getting elected?

If the Founding Fathers intended Congress to fund a nation of parasites, they would have been explicit about it. Please point me to the Constitutional section that defines that obligation.

The Constitution is intended as defining the limits of government. It presumed (wrongly) that, forever, only educated, informed, rational people could be elected to Congress.
With people like you, and the literally clowns, it's not working!

What many so-called "progressives" like Pelosi call liberty, America's Founders called "license."

“A general dissolution of principles and manners will more surely overthrow the liberties of America than the whole force of the common enemy. While the people are virtuous they cannot be subdued; but when once they lose their virtue then will be ready to surrender their liberties to the first external or internal invader.” —Samuel Adams
