NBC's ANDREA MITCHELL: Dan, if Governor Romney had made those points in that speech, I don’t think people would have raised questions and I don’t think he would have had the response from Sa’eb Erekat and other Palestinian leaders.

The fact is he made the point much more broadly about the Israeli economy, the Israeli GDP in contrast to the Palestinian GDP without mentioning that the Palestinians have faced, because of the terrorism, because of the second anti-fada, because of all of that history and Israel’s need for security, but they have faced a wall. They have faced closures where it takes people an hour to get to their jobs, to go two miles because of all of the restrictions and the way they have to -- if you have driven through the West Bank in recent years, you would understand the difference between Ramallah -- when we were there in 2004, a bustling, thriving economy, and Ramallah in the intervening years because of all of the reactions.

There are many things which contribute to the differences in the Israeli and Palestinian economies. There is a difference in work ethic: neither country can match Korea or Germany or Poland in work ethic, but the Israelis clearly have an edge when compared to the Palestinians. At the base of it, Moslems in general are less work-oriented and more oriented to plunder. That is why, except for the luck of petroleum, no Moslem country is really prosperous on its own. This is particularly true of Arab-Moslem countries.

The Palestinians are in touch with many surrounding Moslem countries which are supposedly friendly to them, yet they can not make anything of this advantage. Israel is rather isolated locally, yet does relatively well.

The Palestinians by their insane leadership under Arafat (the Nobel Peace-Prize winner!) chose Intifada instead of a very favorable peace. They chose their own misfortunes. They can’t even figure out what their own problem is. They are destined to suffer as a result, and we should let them: it is their wish.

And the pig Bob Beckel repeated the exact same talking points on “The Five” yesterday, and nobody has ever accused Beckel of being a journalist.

What’s the back story on Beckel and Juan? It’s not “fair and balanced” just plain stooopid!!! Have stopped tuning into Fox programs featuring these two retards

The terrorism she specifies? The intifada — which the ethnically undifferentiated Arab squatters implemented. The economic problems? The Arabs face restrictions getting to work, because they work in Israel, and thanks to the Arab terrorism, and international insistence on the phony “Palestinian Authority” meant there was a hard border for the first time. And the jobs are in Israel because the Arabs are bone-idle bums.

Thanks i88schwartz.
